There will be plenty of england fans back by thursday at this rate.
-
SSDT you must be mental. reeth 3 day is a good weekend, 3rd weekend in july massive marque with a bar in it in the start field. MINT TRIAL, GOOD LAUGH.
-
no not at charltons mate. 40 mile round charltons. it starts at glaisedale and takes in the surrounding country side 1 lap 40 mile with 40 different sections. 2 petrol stops coz you cant get round without them. good trial and has a b route. keep practicing and think about it for next year.
-
have a look at the forma gripper 2 boots my mate has a pair of the older ones they have lasted him years. he got a pair of hebo eco's didn't last at all he is back wearing the forma now.
guisborough have a good trial on this sunday 40 mile 40 sections. if you have the time go have a watch and think about it for next year cracking day out. it takes in most of their summer series venues so you will get a good idea of what too expect when you get out trialing.
-
really good value too i thought.
-
I am going too take a shot in the dark that you have NOT rode a trial yet? I am not saying that too be out of order so please don't take it the wrong way. but if i am right the first mistake you are making is only going to Charlton's, get out and ride a proper trial. you as a new starter would never be expected too ride them rocks in a centre trial. the lads you see making them look easy are experienced trials riders. you are trying far above what you need too for now. from what i have seen on the short video clips you ARE ready. enter any club trial on the b route. you are obviously a member of guisborough, please ride one of the summer series events they put on it will show you what you should be practicing, they are a good day out and you will meet a lot of good lads. please try not too become a slate rat (charlton's only users) get out and enjoy the sport there is some amazing land used for trials in the east yorks centre.

Duel route. clubmen A & B, youth hard & easy. 5pm start, enter at start. . everyone welcome. If you can bring a observer it would be appreciated.
-
now that would improve entries.
-
when i have done this in the past i have put it in the car bit of 2 stoke oil never broke the car and no waste that way. not worth risking it in the bike
-
Sorry if this is a daft question, but do you feel a dip in performance in the bike at the higher elevations, or is it still not high enough too make any significant difference.

have a look on here mate clubs and contacts

Thanks billycraig i think i might good down the 125 route, the 300 is a great bike but a bit of a beast at times. my main concern was the longer trials but if it can do the Scottish i cant see me having any problems.
-
I think you might just of made a decision for me there billycraig. is yours completely standard or have you done anything too it.

Are the world rules not the same as the acu rules. in the case of a baulk he rides the section again but is still on the same marks up to the point of the baulk regardless of how better he rode it the second time so no benefit really.
where i could see it being a advantage is if the rider is running out of time so could just blast the first part of the section to gain a advantage. not sure of the rules on that one, good question.

here mate
reeth 3 day entry list

copemech has the best answer only allow the minders into the section when their rider is riding it. Fuji's crash at nord vue would of been a lot worse without someone there too catch the bike. organizers, clubs or ruling bodies couldn't assign the catchers, or we would never get tickets for all the no win no fee leaches handing out business cards waiting for the inevitable to happen.
-
come on fellas don't dive down his throat too much, you cant tell me you have never heard this said in the past. like said earlier hoggy there are many reasons why people ride in a class that seems bellow them, make these people your target, watch them through sections and you will learn a lot by them. personally I'm not bothered what class people ride as long as they enjoy it, as a CoC i would rather people rode a class bellow them than have to call a ambulance.
last thing almost ANY trial can be rode on a no award basis or just ride the wrong side of the end cards.
-
If you go into halfords thats what you tell em when they give you the price.
-
have you tried fuchs off or section one cleaner. spray a bit on leave it for a little then wash it off, rub it in with a brush on the worst places. really surprised me the first time i used it.
fuchs off
cant find the other one I'm sure its called section one cleaner but could be wrong.
-
I wouldn't bet on that fivemeister i once rode a trial where 1 section had to be observed by the riders. i lashed round the first lap and rode the section on the second then took the board, it was bloody ages before anyone offered to take it off me. so belted round the remainder of the trial and went straight back too finish off the observing after last man through i took the time to total up all the scores to find someone had been awarded a 4 on 1 lap.

you can also contact me or 1st gear steve on here about it.
its also a charity event we go too local bike shops to ask them to donate prizes club members buy bottles of wine and beer and we have a raffle. part of the entry fee is put in with the raffle money and last year both farmers donated the land fee too and it all goes to air ambulance.
