Or alternatively, see if you can find an old screw type bottle jack in the back of the garage or at an auto jumble and use that with a couple of bits of wood wedged between a doorway.

This topic sure is going down the pan!

I clean and oil the air filter every trial in the summer, a little less in the winter when there's no dust. I have had a number of Beta and Gas Gas trials bikes inthe past and I used to clean the carb every two or three trials, the Scorpa seems to keep it's carb much cleaner, so I only take thaty off a couple of times a year.
The gear box oil is changed after about ten events unless they are road trials when I always put new gear oil in beofre each one. Never got the full 700mls in though. The best I've managed is 450mls for some reason.

Does RedBull defrost toilet seats?

I remember a certain rider from the Midlands/East Midlands being banned from competing in any ACU trial for altering a punch card a few years back.

Michelin front, IRC rear every time for me in the muddy old Midlands!
-
It would be brilliant if it had Martin Lampkins voice, but I expect it would more likely be Julian Clary!
-
Ok ok, I've already promised to get a new one on the Scorpa!!!!

As I live fairly near work, I have to make an attempt to get in if it snows.
If the snow is too deep for the car I will take the DRZ400 but I can't decide which rear wheel to fit.
Would you use the wheel with the soft trials tyre fitted or do you think the harder MX knobblie on the other wheel would be better?

Get him to put red and blue markers either side of the pan, then he could ride the 4RT through just like a normal bog section and the weight will break the ice!
-
Would be well worth a try. I've got a set to change at the moment, as always it's the sprocket side bearing that goes.
-
I can gaurantee that I will loose just as many marks if I have a new front tyre, but I can't stand the stigma of having a four year old tyre any longer! It's got to go!
-
Here's a picture of the perished worn out mouldy old thing.... the tyre that is!
-
Ohh dear, I'm being shamed into getting a new front tyre for 2010 I think!
-
I've had my 05 from new and (as a very average over 40 club rider) it does everything I want it to do and reliably. That said I've looked after it.
The centre box split and I had it welded up, the rear wheel bearings go about once a year (20-30 trials) and I've never been able to seal the rim tape, so the back tyre goes flat in about seven days. Other than those little things it's been great.

And we're bound to do it again and again and again, until someone gives us leadership onthe matter!

Thanks for letting us know, well done to Ross.
If you open the page and highlight the A route (or B route) then click on Data, Sort, Column J, Ascending, you will get the results in finishing order which makes them a lot easier to digest.

Living on the border of the Midland Centre and the Western Centre I thought we were well off being able to choose from one trial in either the Western or one in the Midland Centre almost every weekend. Having a choice of three or more trials in one centre alone would be brilliant..... for the rider, but I can see that it's a real problem for the clubs.
I've set out many club trials over the last 12 years and I never know how many riders are going to appear at the start.
There doesn't seem to be any real logic, sometimes we have 40 entries sometimes we have 80, even for consequtive rounds of the same championship numbers vary considerably. However, even giving free rides for supplying an observer we are fortunate enough to always make a few pounds, but remember there is only ever one trial at a time in the Midland Centre.
-
That would be fine by me, if the rules were changed that is!

Don't look so suprised Addict. you know full well that I'm a fat git and all the weight is on the back tyre!
-
I'm still on the original front Michelin from Mid 2005.
A rear IRC lasts for about 20 trials than I turn it around and get a few more. Obviously this is less if it includes a few road trials.

A couple of pictures of Benz's 2009 Scorpa.
