See if you cvan copy it before you send it back, may as well play him at his own game!

Would it be too far to travel to our event this Sunday in the Midlands?
There are two routes and thirteen sections around a four mile lap. Providing it stays dry, the B route would be ok for you and it's a good ride around between the sections.

My Scorpa SY250 will do about 30 miles on a tank full, if I were to ride further than that I would carry a container in a back pack.
-
I've ridden a number of trials in Breakheart Quarry and BVM Moto have held their open day there a number of times... but not this year for some reason.
-
Welcome to TC Kawika, it sounds as if you are living the dream based in Hawaii, your introduction certainly made me very envious! 3.49 dollars for a gallon of fuel would cause long queues here inthe UK, we're paying

I bought my second SY250 when the Beta Rev3 that replaced the first SY got through two stators in five trials from new.
That was in 2005 and I haven't found anything that suits my ability better, however I have to say that I was disapointed with the T ride trail bike that I really really wanted until.... I rode one. At

In other words, schill bidding!
Ebay say this is not allowed but then strongly encourage it by making bidders identities secret. In a way they don't care because a schill bid bumps up the price and also bumps up their profits. If a schill bidder wins the auction, Ebay wins twice because the item is usually relisted and they get to charge again and again.
Sadly it's just one of those things you have to put up with if you want to use ebay.

My lad had a Gas Gas 80 a few years back and it was a superb bike, I can honestly say that it would have got me around a trial ok and I probably wouldn't have lost any more marks than on my 250, providing it was an easy trial.
However, it would be no use what so ever to use for anything more than an easy club trial if you are more than eight stone (110lbs or so) it simply wouldn't cope with any kind of trail riding.
125's a superb, but to some extent the same applies, for general messing around and fun riding with your pals a 200/250 would be best suited. And to be honest, not a lot more money than the much rarer 80/125's.
I hope this helps.

Ohh dear, not good news at all!
Will they be the last?

Always try to treat others as you would like to be treated yourself, but never expect others to do the same and you won't be dissapointed.

Are you sure you need a brake light for a daytime MOT?
My MOT tester told me to remove all traces of the original lights, switches and wires for the daylight MOT.
He wanted to see a full sized number plate, a speedo (that didn't need to work) and a continuous tone horn.
Other than this, he just checked the normal mechanical items and it passed ok.

Obviously different people have different thoughts on ebay.
I just use it as a tool, sometimes I'm a little disapointed when it doesn't work perfectly, but overall I'm more than happy.
I've genuinely been more than pleased with both sales and purchases, but then I'm accurate in my description and sceptical about others!

I run 5f 4r on my Scorpa which is also on Mich front, IRC rear. We don't ever see any rocks around here, but I'd run a little more if I was to ever see one!

Yes, that's a good idea, I had a dreamer back out of buying some agricultural land, luckily the next highest bidder had been to have a look and snapped it up, I might have well sold it to him in the first place.
In this case, using Ebay was fabulous, it cost me

I fitted on to mine for the MOT (although I don't think you have to have one?) it looked brilliant and was easy to calibrate but as soon as I started the bike, the readout loked more like a rev counter. I could get up to 99mph with the bike still in neutral!
It was a waste of

Print off the trials affiliation form HERE fill it in and send to your local club, they will stamp it and send it onto the ACU for you. This normally takes about five working days in all.
The ACU will email you as soon as they process the form. Don't forget a photo with your first application.

The trouble is that the opposite is happening.
The Hardest route is becoming elitest in that only half a dozen good riders can cope, but they cope well.
This means that the other 'only just good enough' riders tend to drop down to the Middle route. This then has the effect of making the middle route seem too easy, so organisers make the middle route harder. Then, the better riders who've dropped down stay down and the rest begin to struggle.
The Midland Centre has a B route for our Centre Championships and the Group trials. A few years back I could get around this route for under 20 marks lost, last year I was loosing 70+, so this year I've stopped riding these trials. A number of very good centre riders now ride the B route.

I've sold and bought many hundreds of items off ebay with no problems, however there is always one that turns sour, that doesn't meant it's not worth doing the others.
As mentioned above, treat the sale just like a regular ad. On large items, always but always go and have a look prior to bidding. You wouldn't buy a bike from a newpaper just on the strength of the advert.
Ebay has certainly got worse for sellers now that buyers can't be given a neg. Now there's nothing stopping a bidder from messing you around and still giving you bad feedback, this was what happened to my one 'bad' experience. The guy didn't even come and have a look at the bike he'd bid on and won before giving me a neg!
Try to be patient when contacting sellers, I've come home after a weekend trials riding to be faced with 50+ questions about a sale, it takes time to answer everyone properly.
That said, as also mentioned above, any doubts at all and you should forget it and move on.

Thanks for posting the link.

It does seem odd that a new front tyre is required after just one season, I've done 75 plus trials on my Scorpa and it's still on the original front.
Don't forget that a 2008 bike may have been new in October 2007.

Beta 200 Rev3's are very easy to ride as a beginer,.

I'm out of the racing scene completely these days, however there used to be a rule that a road racing secretary could at their discretion (ie, if you'd ridden with them before) allow you to sign on without a licence. This carried a fixed

The onus is on the rider to be affiliated and not on the club to check.
If a rider lies on their entry form and is injured that's their problem. The club will still be insured and the land owner will still be insured, it's only the rider that won't be.
-
Most clubs will let you do this, I certainly would at one of our club trials, however it might be a good idea to give the sec a call just to make sure. Strictly speaking you should be refused an entry until the ACU has recieved your application.
As I said, most clubs will be more than happy to let you enter.
Also, remember the photo for your first application.
