  1. Glen, B&J has some good 3 position levers at a good price and MSR also sells some good 3 position ones. Not that good for modern style clutch riding but good for learning. I used a teather kill switch when my son was learning. Get some proper grips while your at it, tight wad! What, are you from Scotland? ( I hope Big John doesn't read this)
  2. If anyone doubts Jay will be successful at this project, they haven't seen pictures of his other projects!

Good Job! Love your taste in Music, share it with Geoff please! You could leave out most of the subtitles. Oh, and I'm not the Brian R in the credits BTW. Please keep up the good work, it's appreciated!
  4. Andy, can you set up a new forum just for Hodaka powered Shercos?
  5. I've built (WITH A TON OF HELP) a big bore, stroked TL 125. I'd never do it again. It's way too much trouble. I think I'd get a 200,and be done with it. The stroked / bored engine will have problems with the TL kickstart gears. BTW, I still haven't started it up. I'll let you know how it works when I do.
  6. Bow Wow, If you sell the Honda you'll regret it the rest of your life. SAVE UP! I think the modern bikes help improve your abilities and you learn to handle the short coming of the older bikes. They actually compliment each other. Imagine trying a section on the TLR that you can't quite get right. You jump on a Rev3 and practice it and it becomes easy. Now you KNOW you can do it and you practice on the TLR until you get it right. It will work for you! Honda's not building any new TLR's!
  7. What's long and hard on a French guy? Apparently 2nd grade!
  8. Hi Dave, I hope your computer doesn't freeze up. Keep your feet up (next to the fireplace that is)
  9. Hi there Spinner, All I have to say is....... oops! I saw it in the newest Trials Comp the same day I posted.
  10. Dave, I was kidding but it sure is cold here right now!!!!!!
  11. The GasGas trials importer here isn't the same one that imports the enduro bikes.
  12. Technology I have, ability to use it... questionable Can you e mail me a large file of it? Brian (at sign) metalmarkers.org I'll credit the photo to you if you like but I'll need your real name. Thanks!
  13. Thanks 2/4. Is that your picture? If so, is it OK to put on the Honda Trials site? Brian
  14. Any way to post the picture?
  15. You have to go for the Michilens, IRC or the Dunlops. No question about it.
  16. Well, I haven't seen a topic on this but maybe I'm blind. It seems the Endurocross winers got their way. No trials bikes allowed! Was it the riders? Was it the promoters? What ever it was, they got their way and IMHO are a bunch of babies!! Next year trophies should be pacifiers and teddy bears. The good news is they won't be able to pass off their genes to the next generation as they don't have any gonads.

    Ufo's

Cope, take a look at some of Tony's bikes, they are about as nice as it gets!!!
  18. tdp, Where do you live? What size tires are you looking for. If it's 21" front and a 18" rear don't waste your money on a Cheng Shin. Go with a Michelin, IRC or a Dunlop. If it's the smaller sizes good tires are almost impossible to find. We thought we'd see some of the Vee Rubber 19" and 17" by now, where are they?
  19. Hi Big John, The bike pictured has a TL250 motor if I remember. Is that correct? I found a TL 250 and would love to do something with it.
  20. So does that mean I can ride the Matchless and the AJS?
