Help! My Lawn Mower Is Broke.
The run out of gas back fire thing is the reason I said check the flywheel key. They might run with a sheared key, just not well. Looked like something had to have happened from the backfire................ Make sure you didn't stretch the Johnson Rods.

Help! My Lawn Mower Is Broke.
Probably a sheared flywheel key.

Cdi On A Tl125
It's a different problem than you think. I've built (with a lot of help) a 200 cc TL. 125 cases, gears. 200 crank, jug, ATC piston. Sooo, it needed a 200 head or the cr would be too high and no compression release on the 125 head. The CDI comes on the 200 head. Cam different than a 125. 125 cam doesn't drop in the 200 head. I think I've got everything I need to wire it up, except ambition.

Anyone out there do this yet? I'm about to tackle it on mine.

Kids Bikes
Brad, your not crazy. Think about the child being able to pick the bike up by himself and not needing someone to start it. No gas leaking all over. I think the little electrics are a fine choice to learn on.

Windsor Ontario August 12th Come Ride!
Oh, and the tunnel seems better than the bridge. The Ferry at Marine City/ Sarnia is the best though.

Windsor Ontario August 12th Come Ride!
Well, my Canada story in mild compared to that. All they did to me was search the car (rental) and hold me up. I had to go to a couple of buildings and be harassed. What a pain, I think if I was wearing a turban they would have thought I lived in Dearborn and just let me through. Mine was the Canadian side btw. When they said "you can go now" I said where? You already made me miss my appointment! What a bunch of BS !!!!!!

Mid-ohio
Hi Alan, I wouldn't say AHRMA is easier. We ride the same lines. ITSA just includes bikes that have no where else to ride competitively any more. Fantics ,Montesa's, etc. from the 80's for example. ITSA also encourages specials for the fabricator / inventor folks. Some events have been both AHRMA/ ITSA and even local Vintage events here in the south.

Mid-ohio
Hey, it's a good bike for the ITSA series. Anything twin shock, air cooled and drum brakes. ITSA is going to grow, and AHRMA will probably shrink for trials. Biff, I thought that was the one line?

Mid-ohio
Isn't there a person in charge of AHRMA trials? Thanks for the info Biff, can't feel bad about Bob beating you. Mike Parsley will beat me on his old Cub in the modern classes. (We need a squid smiley face.)

Hey Biff, what class and bike were you riding?

Is It Worth The Change This Time?
I think you'll need to look at the main jet, not the pilot.

Pedal Trial Bike
Hi Doug, It's my son's bike. It's not a reconfigured jump bike. It's a pretty well built bike. I haven't ridden it much but I bet I weigh more than you! It's probably a couple years old with a bunch of new stuff on it.

How Do You Attach Your Grips?
Glad to see a good solid consensus here, like always. I've used lots of ways too. I like using friction tape and brake cleaner.

75 Tl 125 (122cc) Cam To Crank Timing
Hey Biff, Don't ship the motor to Bob, bring it to him and ride with us! If I can get my TL motor in you can ride the Beta.
-
Flywheel Weight
A flywheel weight will help the tick over. Remove it and the motor will rev quicker. Take if off and try it out. Personal preference.

Did you clean out the oil slinger while you had it apart?
