Hi all just writing to say after my trials accident few weeks ago, collapsed lung and broken ribs, been looking for some protection after seeing on Internet miss bristow has this to, its a company called forcefield body armour and its the pro shirt Mega for trials has back protector, elbow, shoulder and chest protector nothing like what you would think (motorcross) its a jacket you put on made of material that keeps you cool all protection can be taken out and trials top on top you can move fully easily not bulky at all max movement and flexibility washable to protection in prone areas , after my accident has made me think how easy things can happen I know in trials tend not to use protection body wise but think this is the way forward fairly expensive but after 6 weeks off work its worth it because I think wld of prevented my accident been as bad alot of road bike shops sell them and apparently alot of mountain bikers but them to

Hi all thinking of fitting a throttle bearing on my sherco to give it a try, see you can get lots of different ones now, has any people tried them and what to go for? see you can get throttle pully bearing and pulley set (jitsie) or is a throttle tube better also s3 do them ??

Hi all got a sherco 2013 cabistany, have just started to notice last few weeks front end seems really strange, to put how it feels it feels like the front tyre has a puncture? but it hasnt? when you first stand on the bike to ride it front end seems really stiff and seems to have a mind of its own but not all the time then when you get riding abit doesnt seems as bad, when i took it out the garage the other day felt like headstock was stiff but then was ok? when i first got bike was spot on just feels copletley different now, has anyone any ideas ????

If your x lights are getting on a bit you have done well had one on from brand new and had the smallest pin hole on the side wall where the writing is had another lasted few trials and split, did find you can get some bike tyre seal and didnt have a problem them but tyre don't last long, standard Michelin are good had a lot of irc, apparently goldfren??? Or something like that ate fairly good

Had mine for about 3 weeks now, love it came from beta for many of years and felt like a change and pleased I have, have nothing to say against it tbh top service from Garage I got it from I have put frame covers on mine think these are must have on any bike mega design with the air filter, only awkward bit is filling up with fuel, wld advise after few trials check all bolts etc, back suspension can come loose when run in(yellow coating wears off) also back break is a good one to check to be honest Havnt done carb yet just good oil change

Hi all just after some advise I have a 2012 beta factory and since having it front end never felt right, had other evos and not had the problem have noticed when your going down hill it's like have no control of the front end when breaking like the front is all over the place feels like front end easily washes away and sometimes feels like front end is tucking under, had betas for a long time now has anyone else had issues ?? I have put a Ohlins on the back because the back suspension as standard wasn't to good just really don't know what's up with front

It's good stuff stops on and can cut to where boots rub against etc easly renewed to think its 20 to 25 for a big sheet

If you go to most motor x shops or trials you can get some clear plastic adhesive sheet or carbon fibre, get some paper draw around where you want protecting, draw on the sheet cut out clean frame and stick on heat with hair dryer and its perfect I did it ages ago lasts along time and when want new do it again just peak off and clean adhesive

Stephen that is the one from air box to carb, red silicone hose similar to the rally mudflaps and are designed so can remove the carb easily and bit of bling think tbh most larger trials shops will sell them

Don't know where you ride but there's a guy austermills at Scarborough club he sells them and all trick bits as I got one last week

Beta ? Not much different tbh I think top end the 300 has a bit more power, some people say the 300 are abit smoother

Yea I am the same, I have seen you can get 15% more progressive for the front bit apparently not many change them ??

Yea I know there adjustable just wanted to know what most have them set out and if people have put stiffer springs in

A guy yesterday said most people run 10 clicks on the dampening ??

I am 12 stone m8 and on original springs was thinking ohlins for back but someone has told me you need to do both ??
