I think you will find that there were (approx) 272 198Bs exported to the UK, all five speed and all stamped on both the engine and the frame, the paint scheme being the Finish flag colours to celebrate Vesterinen's World Championships. If you look at the 'Finished my 198B at last' post, you will see an example and there are many others kicking about UK. Incidentally, the one shown in my last post is the one Dave Renham was selling last April, as shown below when I got it. The easy way to identify it is by the rear frame loop, the rear swinging arm and the sidestand. Only the white framed 199B had the six speed box.

big_e, Hope you can show us what it looks like now.

A good spot would be on thread Tell Us About The History of your Bully

I am sure we would all enjoy the story.

PS Silly me, nice bike.

Here's mine, used regularly in twinshock trials in UK for the last 4 years. Unrestored but upgraded the suspension.

Great bike, 5 speed, seems to have some `left overs` used on it - steel brake arms instead of alloy etc.

In the eighties quite some time after Bultaco ceased production there was a new 198B in Sandiford's Bury showroom. I remember it vividly each time I went in it seemed to say BUY ME now I wish I had!
