January 15, 200917 yr any beta owner should go nowhere else for their bits, next day delivery and stock of everything I do find it a bit odd that all the importers can run with the fox & then hunt with hounds . The way things are going there'll be no dealers, small margin in the bikes, no spares to sell. What'll happen when there's no dealers left? Do you want your next bike to arrive in a box & you do the pdi? How do you pass on your second hand bikes? Who wants to buy their second user bikes off Ebay etc with no back up?

I started a topic on this a year or two back asking does it make more sense for the importers to sell direct, in the US. I think it is getting closer, less disposable money, bike prices going up, I see the dealer as just another dip in an almost empty bucket. Does it make sense for all to go down with the ship?, I don't see a lot of incentive for the trials only dealer to keep going if there is nothing in it, the passion only carries you so far when the rent is due. Maybe we can all go ask for bailouts from our respective governments, it's nothing for them to give 36 billion to a company that still fails a month later, truth is! people in business will have to get creative to survive, the world is about to receive a global laxative and after the fan stops spinning only a few won't get covered in the fallout. There are some industries doing ok amongst all of this. Just need to get some confidence back and were off again! Now only if the media could start telling us about some of the good things that are happening out there
