Great story, gives good impression of the team.

Yes I was impressed by the teams at TRS. Jordi Tarres keeps a step back from the teams and let's them keep control but obviously steps in should it be needed.

Pol Tarres team is very good , but Ragas team is so professional. It's very much boss and employee. It all makes sense that this should be the case. He pays them well , more than they'd get elsewhere and they know Adam wants no excuses. .. Just get it done. These guys do it. No messing about , no coffee breaks ,no siestas .. Just getting the work done.

Ragas face tells it all . This service from his employees is what he expects. He obviously lays it all out for them. Whilst social media portrays him in one way , he's a cool and serious cookie when it comes to Trial competition.

From TRS manual...

That's OK in the workshop but you would need to carry something like that to top up if you ever boiled the motor in a trial. Maybe put the hole in the front next year ?

On the plus side a Spanish friend of mine has just bought one, he says it's brilliant and is riding it in the ssdt

I can't even tell what I'm looking at there. Is that some bizarre front fill setup?

For all the TRS talks about easy maintenance, that seems odd.

Bottle with a tube and the cap taken off while the radiator is still in place.

Would work fine, but like indicated would need to have one on hand if a situation came up during a competition...

If you are going to do anything at an event you need coolant anyway - I always had a length of tubing on the bottle in the toolbox when I was riding the Rev 3. No great problem.

Same as aJotagas rad, bottle with a tube from the lid does it,I can't see a problem, particularly for a world round class mechanic

I'm not bothered about someone with a minder I'm thinking about average Joe in a long distance trial

If you can carry a bottle of spare water you can also carry a lid with a piece of pipe, Simplez, and the info is in the manual you get with the bike.
