  2. If you are in the UK then there are 3 cranks on ebay at the moment £40 , £50 , £80. take your pick.
  3. I have ordered S3 head and O-ring set from Spain, slipped in magnetic kill switch for free shipping😎...206e total, not the end of the world. I will update when I find time to finish fixing it...I am seriously considering to detach muffler from head and modify it so it is attached to a frame instead, because this is seriously bad design decision. yes, planned to stiffen it a bit while muffler is off. had to put a photo since u called it Her😂
  4. Rebuild the master cylinder the kits are 30 quid and not hard to do at all
  5. Hi all foes any one have a 2008 beta rev 3 250 crank and magneto lying around thats in good condition, mine has been mullerd by prviose owner and unfortunately they arnt available new any more, thanks

  7. The seal would be compromised if it is leaking oil, and hence the dust boot swelling and popping out (they grow in size when exposed to the fluid leak). You'll need to get a M/C repair kit and replace the internals.
  8. As an aside, what does the traction control actually do and why can't it be used on the clutch bikes?
  9. Regardless of being on the left or the right, trials bike kickstarts are not ergonomic. They are far too high so your knee is very bent when you are pushing against compression. Get yourself up higher by standing on a log or leaning against a tree. Or solve the problem entirely with an electric bike 😃.
  10. Last week
  11. You didn't mention checking for a clear air inlet and exhaust gas path.
  12. My red MC cluch boot keeps popping out and I wonder if its meant to have a circlip or someting holding it in? Also it drips a little oil , clutch works fine atm , albeit it snatches a bit at the end of the lever travel which makes modulation on tight turns a tad more difficult so I guess its the clutch plates that must be at the end of the usable life. I tried to adjust the clutch free play today and noticed that it if i wind the piston winder in and disengage the clutch it makes a mecanical clatter! I did not ride it like that just wound it back out and got used to te on/off clutch. Any words of wisdom out there ?
  13. Good evening, got my 2008 rec 3 250 engine out for rebuilding, iv noticed the two crank case half are a difrent colour to each other ones a dull grey and the other is a darker but more shiny grey, not sure if the one half has been replaced in the past but my hope is not as the cases are macheaned together as a pair. Can any one shed any light on this thanks
  14. One reason to extend the swinging arm by 1.5 " - 2.00" inches is to keep the front end on the ground when accelerating uphill.
  15. I’m actually onto something with the part I need I found someone selling online new 3D printed ones tho they are out of stock so Iv mailed the person to ask if I can have the file as my sons got a 3D printer that he got 2 years ago apparently so fingers crossed thanks B
  16. I'll have a look next time the plates are out. Too cold today! Cheers, Trevor
  17. Interesting the slots between the pad contact surfaces appear directional, do the slots go in the opposite direction on the other side or is the disc basically shaped like an impeller? If the pads operate directionally that might make a huge difference depending on how it is assembled.
  18. Sorry to hear that this was indeed the problem. If I remember correctly, the later ones had a larger bottom out bumper on the shock shaft...? Depending on your ride weight you may want to adjust the spring a littler stiffer and/or possibly modify the header pipe, where it tags the swing arm, before trying out a new head. Hope you get her sorted out
  19. If you smooth the tabs I wouldn’t use a Dremel. They can easily get away from you and you’ll have an uneven surface. Try a file or a sanding block instead. You’ll have much better control.

  21. I know how you feel , Its nicer to have the proper parts but these days so many old bikes are being renovated around the globe that there seems to be less and less genuine parts available , and if you find something the opportunists are selling at ridiculous prices. Luckily its not gearbox parts etc that you want. Hope you find the actual parts. Regards Alan.
  22. Hi. I’m looking to start riding. Always had field bikes as a kid growing up . Loved kick start. is there anywhere near Birmingham for beginner trials riding . Before I get a bike!
  23. Yup plug gets wet. I have tried starting fluid many times but no luck. Woodruff key is still in place, I’ve had the flywheel off to confirm that. I can see light through the pilot jet and main jet, I’ve had the carb apart and cleaned a couple times thinking a stuck float or blocked jet was the problem but no luck.
  24. Thanks Iv got a bit of ocd and like things to be correct but it’s beginning to look like I might need to get the grinder and Dremel out as I can’t find anything anywhere and it’s wearing me out stripping and cleaning the carb all the time thanks B
  25. Hi Again I hope you can zoom in on these photos to offer a verdict - I've got a Dremel - type grinder but my greatest fear would be over-doing it - any insight you could offer would be greatly apprexiated, thanks! Trevor.
  26. Subject: Inquiry regarding 2022 EM ePure Race Throttle & TCS Settings Hi Konrad, First of all, thank you so much for creating such an informative website. It has been a huge help to me. I own a 2022 EM ePure Race model. I’ve been struggling a lot with rear-wheel spin when trying to start on wet, slippery uphill sections. I’ve heard that the TCS (Traction Control System) cannot be used on models equipped with a mechanical clutch. Is this true? If possible, I would really like to activate the TCS feature. If TCS isn't an option, I’m interested in modifying the initial throttle response (ramp-up/curve) to be much softer for a smoother start. Could you let me know if this is possible and how I might achieve it? Wishing you many great rides. Best regards,
  27. Make one out of plumbing parts etc super glue silicone sealant and jubilee clips will help , Auto radiator hose etc etc , Duck tape, use reticulated foam in the right places near an airbox to fend off mud and water splashes .
  28. Hi guys n girls I’m looking for a top intake pipe for my fabric 305 air box as it’s missing on my bike and I keep drawing in water and mud/crap into the carb which in turn is affecting the carburettor pretty bad every two three rides I’m having to clean the carb but Iv seen from pictures my bike should have a little pipe on the top of the air box can anyone help does anyone have one or can anyone tell me where I might get one thanks folks Bryan
