Would anyone know if a 77-80 YZ250 clutch cover would fit an 85-92 TY250 "once the oil pump has been removed" ? Regards Rory

due to the very cold conditions in my area, down to -8! what type of coolant and mixture is correct? is it ok to use the blue stuff you use in car engines as long as it is ok for aluminium?

I dont know if anybody is interested but the TY trials club in France is organising an event centred in Paris on the 21st june. For only TY's of any capacity from 50 cc up, there will be a grand tour of Paris taking in all the well known tourist sights and some not so well know. Bikes have to be taxed and insured ...........Remember the Tour de Effel was scaled by a JCM perhaps its time to try again. Hi all , just sorting bits out to reverse the dodgy monoshock conversion done to my bike. The swingarm I have to replace the home made one has lost the stand bracket. Has anyone got a good picture of a bracket please so I can fabricate a replacement....cheers

Hi all, Will kindly ask those of you who has converted TYR front brake by YZ plate, does std TYR brake cable fit spot on, except for the nipple size to shield lever. It looks like the YZ lever position require a tiny bit longer cable vs TYR std..I do not have any TYR cable. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Have tried to order a TYR stem bottom bearing seal from Cane for 3 months now, any suggestion of other suppliers who offers these odd seals, please.. Did order this part ok, for an other rebuild last year... BR,

Has anyone installed 2 stage power reeds in a ty350 and had good results. I have them in my ty250a and really like the Low end.

Hi could anyone who has a stock 1984 TY250 Mono take some dimensions for me : all the dimensions of the bracket between the head and the frame on the seat panel the distance from the knobs that locate in the frame at the back and the front edge where it meets the tank the total length of the seat panel Many thanks Davey

hello hope someone out there can help i have a 125 majesty that i would like to ride on the road do some long distance trials etc. can anyone tell me how i can date my frame, the engine is not a problem as its just the yamaha unit. ive read all the posts on registring twin shocks , new bikes but there doesnt seem to be one with this particular problem . read the post that says mr shirt isnt very helpful as well. many thanks. regards john

hi im andy new member just acquired a ty50 engined monshock trials bike project has chrome frame and arm main frame tube acts as fuel tank under a cover, exhaust has link pipe into frame then exits below swing arm subframe no numbers pro engineered bit of kit will post some pictures I don't think its linked to whitlock or whitehawk could be early 80s any info ideas welcome thanks

Trying to source these without paying $2.50/ea from the dealer. Anybody know what size they are? The ones on my bike are all squished or I'd just measure mine.

hi,my ty175 is leaking oil from behind the front sprocket,been on tytrials uk ,and ordered output shaft collar and a new oil seal,is it just a matter of pulling the old shaft out and removing the oil seal and replacing ,thanks.

Undertaking a full resto of 1974 Ty250a and need an up damaged left hand crankcase cover due to chain damage - appreciate these are hard to find but any help will be appreciated - many thanks

I've recently started restoring a TY80 for my son and have hit a problem with the chain guide mount (or rather lack of one!) The bracket on the swingarm seems to be missing so there's nowhere to bolt the shiny new chain guide to. Could someone possibly take a photo of the area and if possible some dimensions so I can fabricate a replacement? What with that and half the welds breaking on the bash plate it's holding up getting the frame etc powdercoated and I'm working to a birthday deadline Many thanks

Help! I've trawled thru the net over the past few weeks for a set of 3rd oversize rings for my TY. I cant find any...do I need to go to the 4th oversize? The bore is within spec for the 3rd oversize.

Hi I have a ty 250 monoshock that i am restoring, I think it is an 85 or 86 with a red frame and forks, i was just wondering if any one new of good match for the frame and also for the white tank. Thanks Nick
