Any one going this weekend from Southern / South East centre ?

We were given an old RTX 212 trials, Its in decent overall condition been sat in a shed for years. I got it as a summer project to keep the kids occupied and give them another bit different bike to play with compared to the sherco 125 they share now. Got it running with a carb clean and a bit of tinkering, engine is fine clutch ok and it goes through all four gears. Very little info on these things on the net, some talk on here and a few pdf files and brief history on them but other than that its Russian forums and google translate for further info. The bikes frame is chrome and cleaned up nice the plastic and fibre glass pannel work did not fair so good and…

Noticed an advert for Rock Shocks in the TMX, the first Fantic I owned had them fitted but I was too green to know if they were any good. Does anyone have any experience of them? are they any good by todays standards? has anyone bought any?

The Motoplat ignition coil of my Montesa has a fixed wire from coil to spark plug. Any ideas on a good ignition coil with detachable ignition wire? My Motoplat coil is thirty years old and it's wire is worn out. I'd need a longer ignition wire than Motoplat coils have.

Gday i have a Sammy Miller Banana (boomerang) muffler on my sherpa which is clogged up with oil. I have soaked and flushed with air cleaner cleaning fluid and heaps of crap came out, Does anybody know if these have any packing in them, before i have a go at opening it up? thanks

This might appear as a silly question - but in 40 years I have never used bar ends on any of my trial, trail or road bikes. I understand that open ends can be a safety issue and as I would like to start competing I believe blocking the ends is a requirement. So I purchased some Hebo bar ends with the intention of fitting them to my TLR200 and Cota 247. However, I really don't have a clue what to do - do they go on the bars then place the grips on top of them or do they go on the outside of the grips ie: cut a hole in the grips.... One thing I do know is the Hebo units are too small for my bars although I can probably pad them with some old tube rubber.

Hi everyone, I own a MAR with a Whitlock frame, it was featured in a certain magazine a couple of issues back now (the bike was the blue one). I was wondering how much everyone thought it was worth now days, what with twin shock trials becoming very popular and the fact that there was only 30 of these models ever put together. I literally have no idea how much it would be worth, no intend to sell just interested to know. Cheers

Have heard from some old timers That they took the swing arm from the 348 and switch it with a 349 swing arm suppose to make bike handle better by making wheel base from 51.5 to 53.2.Has anyone tryed this or think it would be worth it.Have heard that the 348 had a light front end and this was suppose to help????

Can or has anyone used tubeless tire with a tube in it on a tube style rim.I was told that it will work fine,and that they hold on to rim better!!!!

Hi all. I am in the process of restoring one of the earliest Ty's and need an original second hand carb for it. The motor runs with the carb currently on it (not the right one) but is not running properly. No get up and go, bad acceleration and very very bad performance on full throtle. Any ideas where I can get one? or if someone has one they want to part with, please let me know how much. Thanks
