Just that really has any one tried these shocks yet, what do you think of them.

Do any of you old timers (like me ) have a slick new way to repair fiberglass gas tanks. I have a Bultaco Sherpa tank that is leaking along the lower seem and at two spots up near the frame head stock (looks like it was damage on either side by the handlebars). The tank was lined with a Kreem type liner product which obviously wasn't working. I managed to get all that out with an Acetone rinse. Fiberglass is a thermoset type product which means you can't add more fiberglass to it after is has set and get the same strength and bond as when it was orginally setup. So I am looking for info and suggestions that folks may have on repairing tanks maybe with some other type bon…

Hi there. Has anybody sucssefully re-packed the silencer on their two stroke ? Is it possible to over pack it and so reduce the breathing of the exhaust? What is the best material to use? Where can I get some? Any hints or tips on this matter would be appreciated. The end of the back box IS detachable Thanks Frank

Has anybody on here had to date a Seeley for registration purposes. If I want to date a Yamaha I know to write to Yamaha and obtain a letter. But who sorts it out to register a Seeley. Luckily my Seeley is registered, I am enquiring for a mate who wants to register his bike.With the bike being made in such a small number I wonder who has the relevant info. Thanks in advance. PS What after market shocks do you find work well on a Seeley. Thanks

Hello Again, Im after more advice on the OSSA TR350 1977 im restoring, Can anyone let me know how many wheel bearings there are suposed to be in the rear wheel and in what configuration, also Spacer thickness. I think my wheel has been modified to take 4 x 6201 bearings, 2 on each side. Also I have not been able to find a replacement Clutch Push Rod, does any ony have the specifications for one so i can have one made up. Lastly im looking for a replacement Skid Plate. Just resurecting one of my ty175's and have just purchaced some new falcon shocks and the sammy miller footpegs, although i'm not aiming to create a museum piece I do want her to be competetive in the twin shock class. I have noticed that one of my 175 frames has been modified, although cruedly to enable the rear shocks to be layed down to a variety of positions. Is it worth swapping frames and if so what is the ideal distance from the original top mount to adjust the shock too? What are the advantages/disadvantages of laying down the shocks and at what angle do you stop?

Can you get progresive springs to fit older Falcon shocks? I have tried ringing Falcon but never any answer? will Betors new progresive spring fit ok?

Hi All, I'm getting my 1971 Cota 247 ready for the upcoming vintage season, and I've got an oil leak that is driving me crazy. Both the gearbox and clutch drain plugs just refuse to seal (the 2 large flat head screws on the very bottom of the engine). I've tried fiber washers, aluminum washers, and rubber o-rings, with no joy. The fiber and aluminum washers continued to leak, and the o-ring just pushed out from under the head of the screw. The leaks are slow, just a small puddle after a day or two, but with no way to check the level, I have to change the oil before each ride. Any suggestions?

hi guys, has anyone out here fitted a yam mono (drum brake) front end to a yam framed majesty 250 i understand that the mono yokes cant also be fitted? and have to mill out the STD ty yokes to accept the mono forks! does anyone know what the wheelbase will be after this conversion's been done? as the bikes already seems short with (i think) 51" wheelbase! if i cant get the above parts i need ive looked at the b+j racing web site and see there still doing the uprated( i think) fork springs and also a boyesson reed valve and alloy spacer kit that looks interesting, anyone tried these? on a different note i cut off the std footrest mounts and offered up the oversized foo…

I've just been looking at a clip of an indoor trial from Italy, the minder/catcher was raised on a forklift truck, to his position, looked at least 15ft from the ground. This got me thinking 'well that's a bit dangerous'. Arena Trials have lots of sharp edges and hard floors, wasn't there a Japanese rider who broke both wrists a couple of years ago. The sections seem to get more and more dangerous as the years progress, is it that the promoters have to forfill the publics need for more and more excitement. What worries me, is our up and coming stars, i'd hate to see them, risking themselves for the sake of entertainment and possibly risking the real goal of world champio…
