the castleside trial at lambshields one of the best trials thanks for putting such a great trial on enjoyed all the sections starting to feel the pain for the long ride round the two lap trial i think 8 mile round trip per lap feels like it thanks to castleside club and all the observers we cant do with out there time and patience

Please can anyone give me any details on the above trial this sunday - 10 am is this start time correct? Is it a long ride round? Is the event closed to club or open to centre. Anyone been there before - whats it like? Thanks

Anyone know what the severity of the sections will be like with there only being two courses. Expert course just as normal or slightly easier, or harder?

Thought I,d just fire a quick thank you to the guys that run the club, yesterday's trial was bloody good, I'm fairly crap but really enjoyed the sections, hard enought to challenge but still managed a few cleans, just the right standard for me. I wish I had the time to help out, but working every sat and 2 young kids mean its hard enough getting out to compete ( and that's only 4 or 5 times a yr) never mind setting out a trial. Cheers guys, had a ball!

Entries are now filling up for the Cumberland County Motor Cycling Club 2 day trial on 20/21st June. This is just a bit of an update - There will be 2 courses of good old fashioned straight forward sections based around Newbiggin and taking in a fair amount of the Alan Trophy course. Quite a few people have booked for camping (Available from Friday Night Onwards) at the start and there will be a food van and toilets. There is also going to be an outside bar on the Saturday Night , and along with the "Blue Bell Inn" which is 3-4 minitutes walk away i'm sure there will be a few partaking in one or TWO, and as the course is all off road - NO WORRIES about being over the…

LITTLE bit late this one, but thanks all at the Central Wales club for a very good trial on Boxing Day. Would love to see some results though if anyone can e-mail me some?

Just had my results from two recent trials I rode with CWAC, what a nice suprise to see a couple of photos inside (of me at each trial) with the results (heard they had to get a A4 envelope for bikespace ) Lovely touch, do any other clubs take photos of all the riders and post them with the results ?

The Stratford-Upon-Avon Club have been forced to move the venue for our trial on Sunday 19th October due to problems with the cattle at Top Farm. The new location will be Saintbury Quarry. The trial will still follow exactly the same format as originally planned, with three routes and ten sections, it will be signposted from the A44 at the top of Fish Hill near Broadway Worcs. Hey all thought i'd stick a post on here advertising a trial in aid of a very good cause. The North Hants charity trial is on Sunday 14 December at Crondall Woods.

I rode the DTZ400 in the CHG Long Distance Trial on Sunday, we were lucky with the gorgeous weather and the 32 sections on and around the Cotswold Hills were spot on. The first round of the trail bike championship has been cancelled due to venue problems. The secretary of the event, Steve Venn has just informed me that the Barrett Trail bike trial will not go ahead. The trial, which was due to run next Sunday starting from the Royal Oak near Gretton, has been dtopped due to land problems. Any trail bike riders who have entered, should contact Steve for either a refund or to transfer their entry to the Spinx LDT which the Cheltenham Home Guard club run as a 'stand alone' LDT later in the year. Cheltenham HomeGuard Motorcycle Club are running an open trial at Hayes Coppice near Monmouth on Sunday 26th. There are three routes and the easy route will be suitable for novices and P65 bikes. Just a quick plug for our trial at Hayes Coppice, Monmouth, on Sunday 2nd August. This will be a round of the Western Centre Trials Championship. Cheltenham Spa Scrambles Club are organising a club trial on 14th August, in aid of Gloucestershire Air Ambulance. Three laps of 14 sections with multi-route choices suitable for all grades of riders and solo machine classes. Enter on the day. For more info' see CSSC regs

Myself and my lad rode the Cheshire Youth Trial up at Dyserth today, and, similar to my last visit there, they got it spot on in my opinion. We're on opposite routes but we both thoroughly enjoyed it - it might not be reflected in my scores, but I did I live 50 miles away, but if their weather has been anything like ours, they'll have been marking out in the dry, but the heavens opened this morning and it was definitely a WET start to the day. The grass banks held the water beautifully, and the rocks there can get like glass, which made the first lap very slippy. I know they went round and changed a few of them understandably, and it dried out later in the day, but the …
