After a careful inspection of the venue at Cliffe Lane on Sunday 04/12/2011, the Clerk of Course deemed the venue unsuitable for OSET Championship E-Class event due to the conditions on the ground. With the expectation that the conditions underfoot will remain as they are at best and maybe worsen by the time of the Trial. We hope you understand that we have to consider the safety of the young competitors first, and we acknowledge that some will be disappointed at not being able to ride. Please Note The Novice & Beginners Trial being held the same day is NOT affected (as of writing this) and will continue to run as normal. The Novice & Beginners Trial will not be…

Unexpected overnight rain made the course at Bracken rocks a bit more slippery than intended but the 47 riders who contested Round 10 of the Peak Classic Trials Club Club Championship rose to the occasion and everybody had a great time at this very popular venue in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District. 47 entrants was a fabulous turn out that made all the effort put in by Paul Beswick setting 11 sections with the help of Tony Sprinks and input from legendary Mick Andrews that tested the riders abilities without being dangerous worthwhile. Current Intermediate Twinshock Championship leader and reigning East Midlands Centre ACU Classic Twinshock Champion Tony Sprinks …

Well the weather forcast is looking a LOT better for this Sunday than it did just 12 months ago when we had to cancel last years event due to snow making the venue inaccessable. Been down today and will be finishing the sections tomorrow for Sundays event which looks to be a good un So if you ride a British Bike, Twinshock or Pre 95 air Cooled Monoshock why not come along to Bracken Rocks this Sunday for a super days sport with a club dedicated to Classics and Twinshocks where the sections are laid out with these bikes in mind not a modern trial with a classes for Twinshocks and British Bikes added just to swell the numbers. Three routes Expert, Intermediate and Club…

The club apologises for any inconvinience or disappointment this may cause but the E class organiser feels the venue is not suitable at this time for an OSET round.

On the 20th of November, The Worthing Trials Club are running their annual Brian Fowler National at the Hook Woods Trials Centre, in West Horsley. Hook Woods is known for being one of the only bits of land in the south east to have rocks. It is also popular with many of the top riders in the UK today, having hosted two British Championship rounds, numerous British Youth and Ladies rounds and also the Inter Centre Team Trial. The trial is a Clubman National aimed to suit riders from the centre's intermediate route, up to the very best in the UK, and will predominately consist of flowing sections up the numerous rocky gullies. There are three routes to ride, with the Exper…

South Birmingham MCC are hosting the next round of the Sammy Miller series on the Clee Hill on 23 October. This location offers a good variety of sections including Groups such as Bedlam and Park Lane, natural rocky streams that were used when the Greensmith ran as a full British Championship trial back in the twinshock days (although the Miller round isn't as hard as the trial was back then...) A central location means travel from most parts of the country is reasonable. There are the usual 2 routes with roadwork linking up the groups, for what will be an excellent days sport for twinshock and pre65 competitors, solo and sidecar. The Miller series offers a reasonably…
