Just a reminder to Bon Accord MC riders. There is a trial this Sunday at Nigg Bay, Aberdeen 11am start. For those who have never been there it's an interesting venue running on the rocky shoreline below the Nigg Light House. It's not often that Scottish trials are held on such interesting and ever changing land. Let's hope the tide is out.

Anyone got the regs yet for the Aberfeldy 2-day at the end of June? I'm waiting for a set to be faxed to my work, just wondered if anyone else had received them yet.

Anyone know when the regs are coming out for the Perth & DMC National at Aberfeldy, 19 June?. This was the best trial I rode last year, 10 mile lap, brilliant sections, lap, organisation.

Wow...great trial today put on by Abergaveny AC. Thanks guys, excellent venue and excellent sections. Spot on I'd say and a big thanks to Matthew for all his hard work organising it. Looking forward to the next trial with Abergaveny AC since the last two I've done have been absolutely brilliant.

  7. The first round on Abergavenny AC's 5 round club championships will run on Sunday 4th March starting at 10h30. There are 3 routes: Sportsman (Yellow) for Novice/Twinshock/Pre-65; Clubman (Red and Blue) and Expert (White). It is being held at Penycraig Farm, Llanwenarth, Abergavenny, on the Sugar Loaf. It will also be the 2nd round on the East South Wales Centre championship for which any member of a centre club can participate. The trial is Open, with no restrictions to club or centre, you will need an ACU licence. Its at a venue we've only used a couple of times in the last 5 years or so and is a mixture of rocks, banks and trees. Mathew Johnson (C-of-C) has laid o…

The reg's for this trial haven't been published in TMX, so for the more discerning TC member in South Wales / Western Centre may fancy a ride out next Wednesday, 27th December. The trial will be at the Hendre (AFAIK), Llangattock Lingeod at will start at 10.30. It will be signposted off the A465 Abergavenny->Hereford road near Llanvihangel Crucorney. 3 routes suitable for all, modern bikes and twinshocks and all on private land. Food at the Hunter's Moon afterwards. PM me if you want more details

Aberystwyth club's Strata Florida Trial on 7th August has been canceled . Mid Wales ACU has made a mistake and issued another local club a permit for the same day. The club has unfortunatly had to abandon the event .

I am considering riding the ACU Classic Trials but do not know what level of rider they cator for. Can anybody give some advice or share the benefit of their experiences? I have been riding in the South Midland Centre 50/50 championship for the last couple of years and have coped reasonably well. Having said that, I do not feel like I want to attempt some of the more severe sections (I have work to go to on the Monday) and although the mind might be willing the aches and pains suggest the body is not quite so willing. Yeadon Guiseley will be holding the first round of the club's Novice Beginners Trial on the First of March at 2PM. Two courses on the main route and a conducted for the little 'uns. After the disappointment of having to cancel the second round of the Club championship it's a welcome return for this much loved venue.

Unfortunately due to the Parking area being waterlogged Yeadon Guiseley have decided to cancel the trial on Sunday the 20th. We apologise but the club WILL be reorganising the event as soon as possible. Alternative events are the Horsforth Trial At Tong and the Barnsley Centre Restricted At Dovecliffe. This has been posted in the UK forum as well.
