Contrary to some rumours the Brian Stonebridge Trophy Trial has NOT been cancelled and will run as scheduled. 14 members worked hard today to lay out 38 sections and only the finishing touches to the route marking need to be completed tomorrow. If you have not done so please read fully the instructions in the programme which you should now have received. Looking forward to a good days sport on Sunday.

For people near Mid Wales area - Clive Club Trial this weekend at Melindwr near Dolanog. Looks like it's not gone in to TMX, but Kev Bowden asked me to put it on the web. Good little course, streams, mud, banks, all the usual classes, beginners through to experts, see you there!

There are 70 entries for the latest round of the Midland Centre Group trial championship held by the South Shropshire club on SUnday. I was wondering if anyone had ridden at the venue before and if so what is it like? I am very late in the starting order - each club has to take their turn at being last and it's ours this week.

Rode the Craven Trial yesterday. Good trial, but very slippery where it was wet. Just wondered if anyone had any results yet?

Sorry for the long title but thats what it is Peak Classic Trials Club are holding Round 8 of their Club Championship this Sunday 18th September at Dudwood Farm, Elton Near Matlock Derbyshire. The Trial also incorporates Round 5 of the East Midlands Centre ACU Classic Bike Championship. There will be a mixture of mainly stream orientated sections using the usual stream plus we have the use of the parcel of land over on the other side of the valley towards Elton where there is another stream and some grassy climbs to tackle. If we get enough observers HINT HINT !!! we will run it as 4 laps of 11 sections if not then we will regrettably have to revert to running the tria…

Well, the Colmore is over for another year. The weather gave the organisers more than a few headaches before the event, with the full mixture of snow, ice rain, wing and sun making the sections much, much harder than Alan Wrights predicted

The OK Supreme LDT which is a round of the TBM Magazine Trail bike championship, will feature a new class this year for machines over 350cc. In past years, the winners of this event have always been mounted on Pampera's and Beta Alps, so the new class gives riders of larger trail bikes a chance to get in on the awards which are backed by Behind Bars of Kenilworth. The classes include: Best Trail bike, 1st Trail bike over 350cc, 1st Lady rider, 1st British bike pre 1975 and best team of three riders. Riders who fancy a long ride around with easy sections on trials bikes are also welcome to enter on a no award basis. Road Insurance is available on the day for just

With most of the country in the icy grip of winter the Peak Classic Trials Club held their Round 10 of the Club Championship at a very cold Cookes Wood, Youlgrave near Matlock last Sunday. The day was cold but the sun shone and this popular venue was thankfully snow free for the 39 riders who braved the elements, some from as far afield as Wigan, Hull and Yorkshire. Mention must be made at this point of Terrance Sammon who made the long journey from Wigan only to find his Whitehawk wouldn

The Dabbers Trials club event at Widdington nr Saffron Walden was very tricky due to the constant rain on Saturday and with no let up all day today there was a river running through the grounds, most riders completed 3 laps of twelve sections. Thanks to the club stalwarts for setting out and all the Observers who got soaked through along with the riders.

At a loss for something to do this weekend ? Dont fancy Christmas shopping with the wife ? Then dust the bike off and come along this Sunday to Burycliffe Quarry, Elton, Derbyshire DE45 1LL for the twelfth and final round of Peak Classic Trials Clubs 2018 season. Along with it being the 12th and final round of the year its also the last time that Paul Beswick will be organising a trial for the foreseeable future as he is stepping down after 10 years of running the club, along with invaluable help from his wife Donna, and handing over the reins to Andy Craven and his team. As usual there will be classes for British Bikes, Twinshocks, Pre 95 ACM and Over 50's on m…

Reg Treble riding a Yamaha Serrow won Sundays Sphinx LDT held by the Cheltenham Home Guard Club. With a bumper 120 rider entry, Reg held his nerve around the 90 mile, thirty section course to record the only clean sheet of the day. In runner up spot, Regs' team mate Dave Cottle on board a Kawasaki KTX250 lost just one mark in the mud of section three way out at Guiting Ford high on the Cotswold hills. Third place went to Stratford Upon Avon club rider Liam O'Reilly on a borowed Gas Gas Pampera. Best lady in the event was Trudi Silvey also riding a Yamaha Serrow who lost 41 marks. With Pete Barnett first 250+ trail on a DRZ400 Many of the 30 sections only caught out the…
