For those of you who are not going to Telford to stare at highly polished overpriced non competing competition trials motor cycles but instead prefer quite sensibly to actually, heaven forbid, ride your bikes Peak Classic Trials Club are holding their trial this Sunday at Burrycliffe Quarry, Elton, Derbyshire.     Hi all, Sutton Coldfield trials club are holding a trial at Howards Wood, sign posted off A449 Wolverhampton to Kidderminster road. Nearest post code DY7 5AW. Its an AMCA trial but if you have never ridden amca before, its not a problem as you can enter without licence as a guest. Expert, Clubman, Non expert, twinshock A and B but pretty much suited for all types and levels of rider. If you've never been to this venue its mainly slopes, trees, usually few logs in as well. Wont be putting any crazy sections in. Come along, all welcome. Anything you need to know, just ask. Starts at 11am. cheers tom

  6. Just a reminder that we will be holding round 1 of our 2016 Club Championship at Clifton Scrambles Course near Ashbourne Derbyshire. Signed off the A515. Leaving Ashbourne on the A515 just past Fairways garden centre approx 400 yds turn left onto Dobbinhorse Lane and after approx 1 mile right into the venue.   12. This weekend sees round 12 the final round of the Peak Classic Trials Clubs 2015 Club Championship held at Burrycliffe quarry, Elton, Nr Matlock, Derbyshire. Start time is 11.00 am so why not come along and join in the fun in the glorious Derbyshire Peak National Park. All welcome, can sign as guest. Expert, 50/50 and novice route. Suitable for competent beginners. Also twin shock and pre 65. Starts at 11. No death defying stuff.   14. Storm Clodagh held off the worst of her fury till just after round 11 of the clubs 2015 Championship and from the feedback received most of the riders enjoyed their days sport. The Championship standings are now very interesting in some of the classes the battle for first place is only separated by one point which after 11 rounds is fantastic and will make the final round at Burycliffe quarry on 20th December crucial for some riders aspirations. Expert British Bike saw Martin Stanistreet have a scintillating ride on his James to lose just 2 marks on section 6. Those two single dabs on the difficult rock strewn climb were the only times his feet left the pegs. Superb.…

This club are working hard to run a charity trial at a new venue and to make it a success so they need your entries , Clerk of the course is Peter Jones who is very experienced being a c o c at past St' David's Trials and keen competitor.
