My mate has just got a Sherco 290 but when he tried to put it on his existing bike insurance with Carole Nash, they couldn't do it as they said the bike is not on their system. Anyone out there with a Sherco insured through CN?. Did you have similar problems?. When I insured my Scorpa 125 with them the same thing happened but they got round by rating it as a Honda MTX125. Thanks for any info, C

Yipeee, I've suddenly got a pass out for the Saturday. Not having a TMX nearby I'm trying to find a trial for Saturday. Area is London (ha!) or South East, basically anywhere within 70m south of London. Any information greatly appreciated. Rob.

I don't suppose that anyone will divulge what the Appleyard sponsorship of the British Champs cost, just interested really. Where does the money go to though, and is it the most expensive for entries?

live in Bristol and going to scotland in May so not keen to be driving up and down the country but having little success in finding suitable trial (s) in April. I have french mate bringing his bike over in the hope of experiencing a couple of good trials during April. We'd prefer some nice scenery with some lap mileage rather than 2 fields.. I cant change the dates (tried to convince him to come to scotland but he has regular entry in 4 days Aveyron trial ..two best trials I ever did and they are 1200 miles apart back to back! doh).. If you have anything good during mid April I 'd be very gratefull to hear from you. PS modern bikes decrepid bodies.

Just like to say thanks to all at IDMCC for putting on a great trial at Ardersier on Sunday. Great day out with well laid out sections although the second lap got seriuosly boggy !!!! on some sections but by the third its was fine again, (a few wee alterations to the sections) Good one to start the year with. Keep up the good work

I've recently bought a montesa 315 and I'm having great fun with it, but would like to push myself further before I start competeing. Does anyone know of good places to practice at the weekends near Bury St Edmunds? I'm willing to travel up to 30 miles or so. Thanks!

I wanted to take some pictures of a rider cleaning the big logs found in the practice area at Top Farm near Broadway.I just couldn't find anyone who could do it for the camera. Today, I actually found a rider who could do it, here's the evidence. Anyone spot who it is?

As someone who is actively involved with the running of trials, and having noticed a steady increase in the attendance levels, I was wondering if there was any merit in a central database, where club officials could post the number of riders that have attended their events. This would surely help us all get an idea on the number of active riders (possible geographic/demographic details may be interesting too). Anyone have any ideas on how this data could be EASILY collated or other thoughts? (p.s. before the rumours start I am NOT trying to sell anything and would only be interested in rider counts, not names, addresses, boot preferences etc!!)

I was very pleased to read about the ACU award for Kathryn Wardle. I have seen her ride in a number of trials over the last couple of years, she is a great competitor and a credit to the sport.
