The North Western Centre is running a Trials Meeting on Monday 7th February at The Crown Hotel in Horwich starting at 7:30pm. The meeting will give riders and club officials the chance to voice their opinion on how trials are run in the North Western Centre. The Centre would like to see as many people as possible and all will be made welcome. Just a reminder that any changes made on the night for better or worse could effect how future trials are run in the North Western Centre. Have your say, come to the meeting. For more information please contact Nichola Foote on 01772 815622.

Hi, Did any one here go to the richmond boxing day trial? I did, i was completly knackered (listen to me, making excuses already) and felt a little ill My dad was going to come about an hour after he took me down as he had some stuff to do anyway i fived the first 5 sections (naturally) and was going to retire! Because i thought i was too tired and felt pretty ill now So we went home to get my digital camera (thank you santa) i thought i could take some photos and put them up on tc. After 3 trips halfway from my house to the trial we got some batteries which worked. On our way i formatted the card and it took all the battery power (duracells got plenty left …

I have just read in TMX that the BFD club are running the anual Boxing Day trial under the WTC rules!!!!!!! What is the point in this, have'nt we got too many different sets of rules already with two. Why introduce another? I am sure the majority of riders would rather have a normal ride round on a Boxing Day full of Turkey & Booze than attempt to wreck themselves & there bikes. It seems to me that this event catering for the minority, and not the majority! The sport is never going to entice more poeple from the Clubmans course onto the hard course with this type of event! Are the club planning on running more events like this? Or is this just a one off? If …

I know all of us here can spot an internet scam a mile off ! But.... I thought I'd let you know that my mate had an attempted scam on the bike he is selling on TC It went along the lines of : 'Please will mail me pics of the bike and I will pay you the price you ask' 'Send your details of banking and I will pay money to bank with your address I can arrange pickup and shipping of bike' I know its obvious but the younger members on TC may not be wise to this kind of thing ! Also he had a bloke phone up 'about the bike' just asking for his address so that he can 'come and look at the TRAIL bike'. No questions about the bike at all ! Yeah right Where do you live so I…

A fellow trials rider and road trial fan sent me this link to a Derbyshire council survey on the counties paths and trails. Theres a section for off road vehicles and it even mentions trials bikes. www.derbyshire.gov.uk Survey can be filled out online only takes a minute or two well worth the time to let them no we use these trails as well..
