I m going up to Scotland for the weekend and plan to watch the pre 65 on Saturday and the start of the SSDT on Monday. Can anyone assist me with the route on Saturday & Monday or point me to any links.

Just a quick reminder that every entrant must have insurance that covers them under the Road Traffic Act in order to start the 2009 SSDT. For those of you who already have this cover included in your own insurance, you must provide the name of your insurer and your policy number on the Signing On Form that you hand into us at registration. Just finished watching the DVD of this years six days, I'd heard that it was a tough one but christ, rocks, rocks and more rocks with water thrown in for good measure. I was worn out watching it. Much respect to all those who finished it, I might be fit enough in about 10 years.

Well, what was a certain Mr Colley riding when he won in 1997 and 2000??? I'm sure it was a gasser, especially as when I bought the '97 one off him he told me it had just won the event, but I could be wrong, you know what these dodgy second hand bike salesmen are like he he!
