Hi, I would like kindly to ask an advise. I have VM22 round slide carburettor in my garage. It is bolt on type.I wonder if somebody has an experience in using Mikuni VM 22 round slide bolt on carburettor in B40 trial version engine. My engine has compression rate around 6:1 or a little bid less and one inch long inlet spacer. I am trying to find the proper jetting for this Mikuni VM22 carburettor for using that in my Bsa. Can anybody help with jetting information? Best regards Erkki

Hi guys, Not sure if you will be able to help but I have an disassembled Bantam D5 frame which is partway through a trials conversion. I would like to change the headstock angle but can't any information on how much to change it. I am unsure of the original angle from when the bike is built up with original forks and rear shocks - I would like to increase both the front and rear by the same height, so if I could find the original angle of the forks when resting, I could tweak this by x amount until I have the angle I require, which will remain constant despite the height. Has anybody else done this modification and knows how much to change it by, or does anyone have …

Avise needed please. Iam building a bsa bantam trials project , not for competition use . can any one advise the best way to go to replace the front forks for more modern replacements that would be suitable for trialing . I do not wish to spend a fortune and require replacements that do not require major engineering to fit . I also understand that the bantam swinging arm will not take a modern 400 x 18 tyre with out it rubbing on the edge of the tyre . Does any know how to widen the swinging arm ? Help and advise appreciated
