Hi, If, for example, I built a Hi-Boy framed TL125 using a new SM frame and an old TL125 as the donor machine, can I register it for road use? If so what's the process? Will it have a Q plate or can it take the number of the donor bike, for example? Thanks in advance.

I need to get a downpipe created for my Matchless G3, I currently use one of the SM out-of-the-box pipes but am looking to get a longer one with a bend to keep it tighter to the engine. Ideally stainless steel but not adverse to be of Titanium :-) Any recommendations as to who I could contact for this? Many thanks....

Well done to run such a great trial in that weather. Strange going, the deeper the water got the better the grip !!

Sadly the enthusiastic Bates family have cancelled the above event that was going to run this Saturday 22nd October due to lack of entries-just 20 entries recieved that would have run on sections used pre 65 for the British Experts Trial.

The Strtaford-Upon-Avon Club are running a round of the Sammy Miller Classic Bike series on Sunday 23rd May starting at Downs Farm near Bourton on the Hill. Current entries, as follows: 1 Pre unit rigid = 3 2 Pre unit springer = 7 3 2 stroke = 5 4 Unit 4 stroke = 7 5 Pre unit sidecar = 5 6 Unit sidecar = 2 7 Twinshock sidecar = 1 8 Twinshock = 24 9 Trail bikes = 5 10 Easy route-all classes non champoinship = 23 Overall total = 82. The SCUJ trial (and the Sammy Miller series) was I believe created for British bikes and sidecars competing on sensible sections. Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I need some help. I'm fixing up a 1976 Kawasaki kt250, and the lights are burning out. I figured it would be a voltage regulator, but I'm not sure where, or if, it even has one. If I could just get some help from people who know more than me, that would be great.

Hi, I am on my second Cota 349 build (for my sins) and this one has really gave me a head spin. The engine has just been rebuilt and all I needed to do was connect the electrics and that was it, job done... Er no chance! Brand new points, condenser, stator check(good), new coil, new plug cap and new plug, but no spark. Coil on frame had a very good earth with no paint in between, all engine mounts have good earth as well. Can anyone on here throw me a bone to what I might have to do to get a spark please?

Hi I've a very good condition Montesa 172, engine is sweet.....but can't get the gearchange sorted...... I was thinking of either selling on as is, or possibly change the engine ??...... Ideally I would like to keep in line with the era (i.e I don't want to put a modern chinese copy 125 in), and ideally keep as a 2T. Anyone any experience or advice on most appropriate, with minimal modification (although I've no problem with sorting some fabrication work) cheers John

Entered the first round of the Twinshock Trials Championship at Congleton this Sunday. Very good trial with 20 sections 2 laps. Nice venue and very good sections and route with around 100 entries. I think it is a very good idea and initiative to try to get out the twinshocks from the garages to use them a bit and return to the trials of the 70´s. Bit muddy for a Spaniard... but aniway enjoyed a lot. Thanks to the motoclub. Some pics:

Hi there Can anyone help please. On TC I have seen a natty little item I can only describe as an in (fuel) line coupler / de-coupler. An item that 'splits' a fuel line with a twist or bayonnet action. At the time I put the link into favourites, but since have had computer troubles and have lost favourites. Thanks in advance. Regards Sparks2
