After reading another post on this forum ,I checked my chain alignment and chain tensioner My sprockets dont line up with each other . My back sprocket is about 1" off from the front ,and my tensioner was set for the back sprocket only,so the chain was angled off the front sprocket... to the tensioner....then straight to the back sprocket Surely this would cause premature wear on chain and front sprocket I take it the tensioner should be on line with a straight edge from the back sprocket to the front sprocket. But even if it was ,the sprockets are not parallel with each other The front sprocket is straight ...the back sprocket is straight....but they are just out of …

I've just acquired an'03 Rev3 250 and am interested to know what fuel mix ratio other owners use.I've been told different things by two very reputable dealers. One says use fully synthetic oil at 50:1 and the other says semi-synthetic at 70:1. All input welcome Thanks.

I`ve heard that a bikes suspension can get soft with age/use ,but mine seems to to be stiff compared to other bikes. I`m going to change the fork oil in the front for a recomended brand to see if that makes a difference...but not sure what to do about the back. Anyone got any ideas regards N

Just had the Silent Block break on my Beta. Yep...thats what its called...but to a simple guy like me..its a rubber mounting from the mid exhaust to the rear sub-frame. Anyway....the reason I'm telling you Rev 3 people this...is because the replacement part doesn't cost too much...and I will ALWAYS carry a spare now...because its a right pain to try and make a bodge repair....(actually I cannot come up with one that doesn't leave my exhaust rattling around). AND...apparently its fairly common for them to break.

I`ve just put new bearings on the front wheel and going to start changing the fork oil . While stripping my front end down ,I noticed that the r/h side bracket that holds the front fender onto the forks has snapped ,right where it clamps up with the bolt. How do I get a new one on ,....the old one will just snap off,but cant see the new one opening up wide enough without snapping. It looks like I have to strip the forks down just to change it,and if thats the case it doesnt seem worth the effort to do it Unless stripping the forks down is a lot easier than it looks The bike is a 98 Techno Regards N

Just changed my fork seals ('cause they'd gone). Only to find a quite bad..but not TOO bad scratch on my forks that I'd done a few weeks earlier. Now that scratch seems to have already blown the new seal..only after 1 ride. I tried to polish the scratch out...but doesn't seem to work. ANyone else have any ideas??,.......OR ...havew a second hand fork stancion for sale. I;ve been quoted 110 pounds for a new one...(which is probably -VAT 'cause I'm in Hong Kong) Thanks in advance for any ideas.......(apart from dont fall off and drop your bike on the rocks......or get a fork protector!!!!......ahem!..which I will be ordering soon!)
