I was just wondering how most people like to spend thier time on the pegs, here in Courtenay on Vancouver Island we don't have an official club so we mostly ride trail. where do you ride and what do you prefer? Trails or events or just a practice area?

New member (beginer)looking to get into the sport and want to know what levels of competition there are on vancouver Island. I have no interest in hopping around on one wheel so was looking into twinshocks and posibly building a bike so could someone point me in a direction for more information? So far looks like the twinshock requirments are Twinshocks, aircooled, drum brakes. Dan

Well call me crazy but I have organized another Trials demo at the NS Outdoor sport and RV show. Based on the success last year (despite me riding off the roof of a car onto my head) we have gone all out and Paul Yvan and his kids are going to join us from Quebec for the show. I even got a banner made up to make us look like we know what we are doing. Stephane has built one heck of an obstacle but given my performance last year I think I will leave it for the pros Just today I found a Ford Taurus Wagon which will be a bit tamer to drive over plus we have a large tire, a few wood triangles, a couple of logs, and a teeter totter - should be something for everyone. …

Just wanted to note that this year we are having Trials demonstrations right across this big country of ours. By working with the Canadian Motorcycle Show the sport of Trials has been given some great visibility. Last year Jordon Szokes had done a few shows out West and in Toronto. This year I jumped on the band wagon and tried to organize a show for the East Coast. In my efforts to organize it I found out that Stephen Fotheringham with ATAQ was already planning a Demo for Quebec city and Montreal. The Moncton show was the week in between the 2 shows so the show organizer was able to transport all the staging between the three shows and the Belanger family was nice enough…

The front page of this website shows a a pic of a CMA logo with the words - a Shake up in Canadian Trials. - To put the record straight, nothing has changed, except one person has decided to leave the well organized and well funded by the MMIC - WTC - Trials in Canada is alive and well under the umbrella of the WEC/WTC.

Just saw an ad on discovery channel saying there will be trials riding on the "Daily Planet" TV show tomorrow. Not sure who they will have on but nice to see some main stream coverage of the sport.

After doing a trials demo at the local motorcycle show on the weekend (here in Nova Scotia) a fellow came up and asked if I remembered him from 2019... I did - he was the guy I always tell people about when they want to give my bike a try at the shows... He was kind enough to share this video his son had taken that fateful day...

  15. Trials Training at Miller Meadow with 2011 Canadian Champion and 5 times Trials Des Nations rider Jonathan English! I realize that all the events I have done so far have been free but I can't cover the expense of this one on my own so there will be a $50 fee for the 2 day course. There is a $25 discount for anyone who helped out at the outdoor show. There is a 20 rider limit on this event so we can really focus on the training. Saturday will be formal training starting with the basics and helping people get their bikes setup (if needed) we will then move into turns, hopping, small obstacles, reading sections, riding sections, and then a bit of the extreme stuff - just …

Is there anyone out there that would support the return of a true and balanced Canadian National trials series with the result being Canada sending it's best to the TDN? The rules seem a little cloudy on the subject of team selection but with some lobby work to the CMA (or MMC if they ever get FIM sanctioning) I would like to see if we could make this a reality. This is not meant to start forum for people to vent their spleens at the CMA; but rather to see if people want to see us move forward. Spencer Fitschen

I'm looking to get back into trials after a long break. The best deals I can find are on Sherco or GasGas bikes. Will all the changes in Canada dealers/ Importers, is one of these a bigger risk to get parts in the future?
