Gas Gas

Hi new to trials Central. Have bought a gas gas rookie txt 80 for grandson. Engine is very noisy/vibration and ticking/clicking noise which can felt on barrel. Bike is nice otherwise. Anyone done a full overhaul on one or any advice welcome.

This looks like it broke off the frame and was holding the mid pipe. Id like a pic if anyone has one available to share so i can try and get it repaired correctly. Thanks

Planning on stripping down the rear linkage on my 16 racing and as far as I can see there are three options. A Jitsie kit, an All Balls kit, or individual OE parts. I've never had much success with All Balls kits in the past on road and dirt bikes, however. Anyone got any recommendations or experiences please?

I've got a 2005 montesa 4rt. I find the 05 mont hyper sensitive on the front, the clutch is like a switch, the engine breaking on this particular year is very harsh and the suspension isn't as plush as a lot of the 2ts feel which makes the bike feel heavy. I've tried to give the bike a chance but it's not for me. I'm looking at getting a 2013 250 txt pro once I've sold the mont. What are they like? Any particular things to look out for?

Hi, New to trials and have just bought a 2008 GASGAS TXT PRO. Looking for a rear mudguard but can only see 2011 model onwards in online shops, and not having much luck finding air filters, etc. Is there a general issue getting parts for my model? Cheers

I have a 2017 GAS GAS EC300R that i'm having trouble with. I just picked it up a month ago and it's been running great until today. It's starting to "chug" when i stop, like i go ride around and come to a stop with the clutch in and it chugs down to an idle, then barely stays running for 10 seconds and dies. I've adjusted the idle and mixture screws with no success. Any suggestions? I don't know what the carb is set at now, i assume it's still on the factory settings...

  10. My 2006 Gas Gas TXT 250 Pro have been standing unused for the last 2 or 3 years. I have not tried to start the bike since it is stored down the basement. So when the engine is not running and i put it in gear and pull the clutch handle it is like the clutch is not engaged at all. Note that clutch lever have normal resistance when pulled and do feel okay Will i have to bleed the clutch or will the clutch start to operate like normal after i have used the bike a little? Before any writes that it is only to take it outside and check it the bike the bike is parked for the winter and i would also have to move hole lot of stuff to get the bike outside …

Hi there, I have a 2017 gas gas txt racing 300. I have recently replaced the kickstart gear and idler gear. However every now and then it catches as you go to kick it over and have to rock back and forward in gear to release it so can kick over. Anyone know the issue ?

Hi, Does this bike has an waterpump weep hole, and where is it located? This bike has a small coolant leakage on the front engine case. I'd removed the skid plate but cannot find any coolant weep hole. I know there is 1 (oil) weep hole near the stator cover. And does anyone has an technical manual about this txt50 boy? Greetings from Holland.

  14. Hi I have just ordered the thicker clutch plate off GAS GAS UK so that the bike will disengage the clutch quicker, a 2mm instead of the normal 1.5mm and also ordered a new water pump seal as I'm losing water into the gearbox. I have asked them for some expanded diagrams but is there any pointers anyone can give me as well ...... I need to replace a leaking water seal and also fit the new clutch plate, but a little unsure exactly what to do and dont want to mess things (which I am quite good at!!) I do know that I will probably need to grind down a socket to get the clutch basket out. Any information or pointers would be greatly appreciated. My bike is a 2010 TXT50 Boy…

Hey all, I picked up a 2017 GasGas Contact 250. The battery won't turn over the motor reliably, I may get 1 revolution every 3 presses of the button, if the motor is cold. I am thinking it's the battery, there's a replacement one in there. I was trying to find the dimensions / specs of the original battery or folks recommenations for a replacement. The ownes manual for the 2017 Contact doesn't actually have the battery or seat in it at all. Here's what's in there, I cannot find an exact replacement for this, I suspect the size of the original may be a little different, the models in the replaces list all look a bit bigger. what's in there: Power Thunder …
