My old man has had his 1999 TXT 321 since it was new, about 12-13 years ago it stopped working and he never had time to fix it. I recently brought a 2005 TXT 300 pro and i want to get his bike working again so we can ride together. the problem with the bike is it will cold start and run for a few minutes before it dies and wont start again, we have no idea what is wrong with it, i have been unable to find any info online and was hoping making a post will get me some info on what the cause might be.

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows how to adjust the suspension on the new tech forks. I have noticed there is only a screw in the right side of the forks and not the left like older bikes. Thanks

Had a ride the other day and the exhaust went pop/bang and then cut out and wouldn’t start again... every few kicks it makes a pop/bang, I have checked the spark and it’s fine.... also checked to see if flywheel was spinning freely and it wasn’t... will I need to get the flywheel off to check the woodruff key? Also spoke to my local trials bike shop and they said it could possibly be the CDI that has given up... how could I test to see if the CDI is the problem? Any other ideas?

Has GasGas ownership just become the least value for money in the market. All the talk now is how people aren't spending the way they once were, Brexit affecting bike sales, stability of the pound etc etc and add into the mix a six month old racing only worth approximately half its new price because the importer has flooded the market with unsold stock ; but still wanting you to pay £6399 for this years upgrade. How does that work other than the obvious fact that buying GasGas is now £1000 dearer than other brands. So just when loyal customers wish to upgrade due to new model release they have to suck up the deficit, sounds fair enough in the ruthless world of moder…

I bought a 1998 TX 320 as donor bike for an electric conversion. Problem is it's in parts and I'm not the one disassembled it (long story). Because I'm doing an EV conversion there are a lot of parts I don't need, and many that I do. I don't have any prior experience with Trials bikes at all, so it's all new. From the previous owner I was given reprint of the factor parts/schematic from Jim Snell / Rising Sun Imports, but it being in Spanish and diagrams not super helpful in seeing exactly what bolt is what or how parts fit together, wondering if I can get some pointers on how to assemble this bike back into a roller. The near term goal is to get the swing arm,/…

Hi All - Some thermostat advice Please! I've recently bought a 07 Txt pro 300 and have been through it, so its ready for trial. However, i found the fan had been hardwired - bypassing the Thermostat (so the the fan was constantly on when the bike was running). I tested the thermostat in boiling water for continuity and this seemed fine, so i rewired the fan circuit as it should be with the Thermostat connected. When the bike is started from cold and the fan comes on literally within 30 seconds, and stays on until the ignition is cut. I tested the rectifier and this seems fine and the water pump (again fine), so i retested the thermostat with a temperature probe…

Hi guys. Just bought a 1994 125 in good faith. Got it home. Noticed it wouldn't idle. Cleaned jets. Sorted. Left it running and coolant was spilling out from the filler cap. So the fan isn't running. Also there is a rattle from the engine, and it won't select the gears, I'm thinking this is linked to the rattle. Any advice would be great. can I buy repair and service manuals? Thanks. Paul

Hi guys, I'm looking at buying a 2019 gasser but undecided wether or not to go for the standard or the GP edition. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the actual differences between the 2 bikes and just your general opinions on this. Thanks?

I bought a bucket of parts 1998 (US) Gas Gas TX 320 that I'm using for an EV conversion (longer story here) I was looking at the motor and saw what appears to be wood or cork in the crank counterweight, its feels like soggy wood when I touched it with a probe. Is this OE? I haven't owned a 2T since I was a teenager with a gas stand up scooter. There used to be home made or aftermarket "Stuffed" cranks that reduced the crank case volume to increase the intake velocity and primary compression. That said, wood still seems to be an odd choice if this was the goal of GG or someone else. It doesn't matter for my purposes as I'm doing an EV conversion, but curious nonethel…

Been having many over heating issues with my bike... I bought it not so long ago at a blind auction so was expecting there to be some issues however I didn’t expect the whole cooling system to have next to none of the required electrics so I hot wired the fan up to the what I believe to be the AC power supply coming straight from the stator (correct me if I’m wrong)... the fan barely moves even at higher revs... I checked to see if the fan was working by connecting to a car battery and it works... not sure if it’s spinning fast enough though, any other way to test this? Will the fan ever work properly if there’s no rectifier? Is it worth getting a thermo switch as well or…

Hi, Does anyone know what compression head the 2017 TXT Racing 300cc E4 runs as standard? I'm sure I read somewhere that the E4 was designed for the US market and had a high compression head as standard, but could be wrong... Reason I ask is that if it is a high compression head as standard, I'm thinking of changing to one of the S3 lower compression inserts, but don't want to change it without knowing what head the bike has first. Any help would be appreciated

Hi all just wondering what fuel mixture is best for a jt25 gas gas 1995, the bloke I bought the bike off said 40:1 and it smokes and spits oil out of the exhaust so have been running it at 50.1 but not a lot different so was wondering what ratio would be the best. TIA

Todotrial and an enduro site had articles about a fire at the factory in Salt. Anybody know what’s up with that? I thought it was old news until I saw the Torrot logo on the building.
