Hi Does anyone know if they do a flywheel weight for the 125 TXT ? I see lots listed for 250 and above but not sure on 125 ? Thanks in advance

Hello, can anyone please help me with this? I have a GasGas TXT Pro 300, 2009 that I am trying to reassemble. I cannot figure out if the shift drum goes onto the shaft first or if I insert it first into the gearbox and then onto the shift shaft. Either way, it seems to be difficult to find the right orientation of the drum. Is there anything I am doing awfully wrong? Any hints would be greatly appreciated.

I bought a project witch I was told it was a gas gas Pampera 250 I am trying to find parts wich is near impossible and looking for some advice it’s all stripped needs a top end and new plastics, pads front and back and discs new clutch kit new wheels does anyone know where I can find parts for this or any advice about the bike as I haven’t really got a clue what it is I’ve heard it’s based of a trials bike but not sure

Hi there. I've got an 07 gasgas 280txt pro with the 40mm marzocci forks and I'm struggling to get the cartridge apart. I've got a pin spanner tool to turn the reboot cap but I can't seem to remove it. I can raise it enough to expose two hex nuts on the shift. 19mm and a thin 15mm nut, but I can't separate then. It feels like I'm going to break something. Any tips on how to disassemble? Thanks

Okay, first thing is that I'm not new to 2 stroke motorcycles. I'm 59 years old and have been around 2 stroke dirt bikes since 1973 was my first mini bike. I've owned several bikes over the years. KX 250 CR 250 CR 500 YZ 250 and a Montesa 250 trials bike. So the bike was delivered 2 months ago and pushed into my garage. I haven't had a chance to ride it because of recovering from surgery. Hi, Looks like I got caught out, my Montesa 4RT could be an '05 when it was sold as an '07, people are telling me the 10th digit on the frame no equals the year. Got an '05 TXT Pro as well (and prefer it!). Anyone know how to identify my TXT Pro from the frame number? All the grahics are right, but I'm getting paranoid now. Hanging is too good for some people, but I suppose it's 'buyer beware' and all that. Cheers and happy trialling.

just after some advice from fellow Gas Gas owners. i've picked up a 2021 txt 280. really enjoying the bike, but the power does feel pretty sharp which is taking some getting used to. (previous bike was a Jotagas 300 which was like a tractor) i've ridden it totally standard for the last couple of months, but in a sloppy wet trial on the weekend , i felt like i was struggling for grip in places where i usually wouldn't have with the jotagas. still getting used to the bike/tires etc, so not bashing the bike, i love it. just want some opinions on if fitting a fly wheel weight would calm it down a bit on the power delivery ? also, if fitting a weight , wi…

Any manufacturers making aftermarket parts for the 2023 TXT bikes yet? It would be nice to have an alternative option to GasGas parts for things like pegs and mudguards (yes, it breaks).

Hi ive got an aprillia climber 280 1993/4 and unsure of how to change the oil. I also would like to know the best oil for the bike, thanks in advance.

Two hours at the DMV only to be told that my VIN # doesn't pass muster because the 10th digit is an 'E', which according to them was only for the 1984 and 2014 model years (they're right). My bike is a 2004, hence the 'E'. 2004 in North America was a '4'. The Gas Gas Vin decoder shows the 10th digit as being a letter, so that's consistent. Bike has never been registered which may also be part of the problem. I have to take it to CHP but I'm sure they're not going to have any of it either unless I can furnish some solid evidence of the Gas Gas system. Anyone else run into this?

Hi all. I've seen it documented that later models have a gap between the left swing arm and the frame. Is this the same for older models? My 2002 txt 200 has roughly a 5mm gap

Evening all, I’m after a little sanity check. My new to me bike has developed a bit of a knock, but it doesn’t seem to be directly engine related. It occurs under throttle openings but also occasional knocks on the overrun too (about in time with the exhaust pops) I've tested for potential pinking by running on the choke (just about manageable) and I know the clutch makes noise until disengaged. I decided to get a new header gasket and orings to try the cheap obvious fix first before tearing into the engine. And as I stripped away the mud deflector noticed the header looked like this. Has anyone installed an S3 Low Compression Head Replacement? My 2023 Gasgas 250 TXT Racing is too lively for me and it feels like the throttle is either at idle or full on with very difficult low rpm control. The thing just jumps out from under me with the slightest twist of the throttle. It’s also hard to start and almost impossible without leaning it against a tree or a rock to stand up and kick the crap out of it. My old Yamaha TY250 was much easier to control and start. I’ve installed a slow throttle that proved somewhat helpful but now I’m considering an S3 low compression head. Does anyone have experience with them and what can I expect? Hi guys i'm from Portugal and i recently got a JT 25 that wasnt loved enough before and that i've been restoring it. I had to bleed all the hidraulics, changed all the bearings from top to bottom, new brake pads, new brake and clutch lever, new radiator cap and fluid, new bolts all around, fixed some exaust leaks on the joints, new chain tensioner, did some paint and a few other stuff. I'm still waiting for the air filter but i decided to test the bike anyways without him to check the engine and the clutch.
