after a pair of boots for trials new or used size 8 can't find anything for under £100 would someone point me in the right direction many thanks

Does anyone know a good alternative to the gaearne boot paste/polish? i used gaerne in the past, just looking for something comparable and a little easier to get.

hi guys, just looking to get some kit for starting off, mainly boots and a helmet. as a mx rider i think the mx kit will not be suitable and want to get a proper helmet and boots. not wanting to spend a fortune on it does anyone have any recommendations for boots sub £100 or second hand size 8 and also a helmet around the same money? thanks

Hi there everyone, I bought a pair of Hebo Eco 2 boots in June 2012, by October they had fallen apart, 4 months is not acceptable for thier cost in my book, considering what they are suposedly designed for. Has anyone else had this problem? At the moment the dealer does not want to know so I have taken it back to the importer but they are not really interested. If there are others out there with the same problem maybe something will get done about it.

Hi all, Thought this might be the most appropriate section to post this as it has to do with parts. Just wondering if anybody has any information on whether this place is still in business or not. I placed an order online with them and the following day there is no record of the order (logging into account)even though my CC shows a pending charge. Hi Im looking for some trials boots but want to try them on I live in South Derbyshire and the only place I know of that sells trials boots is Leasure Trail but they only sell Hebo or Sidi. I have heard bad things about the Hebos so was thinking of the Forma Boulder I might even push the boat out and go for some Alpinstars no stops Does anyone know where I can go to try on differant makes in the East Mids at all?

Man it's cold up in them hills..... My regular riding gloves are nice and thin for a good feel on clutch break and throttle, but...... They're c c c cold!!! Can anyone recommend something a little thicker or better suited to this weather...... But not to thick so's I can't feel things? My right hands got a few hinges instead of knuckles after a decent road bike crash so I feel the cold like bloody tooth ache in me bones.....

Hi there , i have used the search function but can't find any info on them. Basically what i am looking for is if anyone has them, has used them ,has seen them, are they tight fitting or not ,as they are not stocked anywhere near me but i like the look of them. I don't want anything tight fitting nor do i want anything baggy so if anyone has any info that would be great.

I know this is not strictly gear but i could not find a forum for stands! I,m looking to buy a workshop type stand a was wondering what everyone else uses or recomends, i have been looking at the Apico fixed stands and the o nes with a handle to lift the bike up higher to work on. How do you get the bike on the Apico ones as they look very high? Many thanks Andy.

Is anyone doing smaller shell helmets for Juniors? MY son has a xxxs but the shell is adult size meaning it is rather heavy for his little head and in particular his neck. Stew

So, I've been into classic green laning for a while on my Royal Enfield and as some of you know I've only recently bought a Montesa Cota 247 classic trials bike, I've taken it down some lanes but am yet to go to a trial with it. I will be going in a few weeks. So, I was wondering if for now my existing gear is OK? I have been looking at ultrasonic jewellery cleaners on t' internet for around £30. I thought it might be handy for cleaning the carb and maybe other stuff too - certainly not jewellery. Has anyone found one with a basket big enough....the ones I've seen so far are about 40mm deep and I would imagine this isn't quite big enough. Just for reference - I was looking at the JPL7050 - other brands are available. Has anyone tried anything similar. I would think a 5 minute clean once a fortnight would keep everything totally spotless. Just a thought, and for £30 if its not up to the job you could always clean the wifes jewellery ! Hi there, yes I'm well aware there is numerous other threads pertaining to boots. However I have not really found anything useful in my choice of new boots. I am looking for honest reviews, pro's & con's of the Sidi, Gearne, and Alpinestar brand of boots. I have so far gathered this limited amount of info (feel free to correct it, if I am misinformed). I currently wear a size 44 Gearne boot, with a wool sock and it feels like it has some slop, but I am only 16, so there is the potential for growth as well I would like to incorporate wearing seal skins on the days it requires, so I am unsure on sizing. Morning All, I had a pretty shocking ride yesterday at the Eastern Experts trial at the wonderful Purl's Hill Wood on the Suffolk/ Essex border. We all have off days, and this was mine! I had a nasty off when I failed to crest the top of a big climb and clattered into a tree (I actually managed to paddle out and saved 2 marks, so that's the important thing...), this resulted in my full decelerating weight falling onto my left footpeg. I now have a hole in my shin that makes me feel sick if I even think about it, never mind look at it! This is the worst 'shark bite' I've ever had, but I do get peg marks from time to time. It's made me think that a decent shin protector …
