Hi, I'm looking at riding in the Ventoux Classic trial in the south of France in October. Due to a severe lack of holidays left at work for the year, the only way I'm going to be able to do it is by saving time travelling by flying over. Obviously this means I will have no bike! I just thought it would be worth asking if anyone was travelling over for this comp from the UK, or knew anyone that was, that might have room for another bike in their van in exchange for some help towards their travelling costs? Fingers crossed!

looking for a website for trials events, enduro and road/circuit racing would be a bonus too ...off to tour France late August by 1992 Honda Revere again (remember them?) or new fangled high tech Wee Strom not sure which yet, so would be great to take in a trial etc Then off to Northern Spain. cheers guys

Entries are now open for the above event which is based in the Italian ski resort of Bormio. Sections are ok but the run round the Alps each day is absolutely fantastic. Stick Tre Giorni Valtellina into Google for the regs and get yourself there. Lots of video footage from previous years on YouTube

As the months fly by, just wanted to draw your attention to, two weekends later in the year that might be of interest to those looking for an outing in France or Spain. The best classic trial in France in my opinion le VTC classic , Mont Ventoux 14 th and 15 th October, entries open in a week or so... The best classic trial in Spain... in my opinion Motocats, Trial Saint Feliu , Near Girona 18 th 19th November . Places will be sort after, and there are limits to riders and followers so if you fancy riding these, start thinking about it now. Anyone going this weekend? I am still trying to make my mind up. It's a bit under three hours from Calais. Weather looks cracking and Belgian beer there too! Missus is hobbling about after stacking the Beta on Sunday so looking for something less energetic - could be ideal.
