Good fun for half an hour mebbe.
Shame none of 'em actually get round a corner without ending up a*** end about! Typical Scooby driver?
-
John Smeaton and his act of bravery should be officially recognised, 1,000+ pints is all well and good but the bloke's a hero in my eyes. Sir John Smeaton or summat?
My fave bit off the front page:
"And there he towered. Feet firmly planted, arms folded, with a glowing Mayfair clamped between Eastwood-esque jaws, he surveyed me disdainfully, like he would an oversized golf bag needing to go onto the 10.25 BMI flight to Heathrow."
-
You have no chance!
Andy only does half a lap and then legs it to the hospitality suite, he won't shift from there

-
We need a 'tongue in cheek' smiley on here

Craig isn't betting AGAINST his boy is he?

I think this gets mentioned every year but bugger all ever gets sorted so...
TC.com Charity Team
Saturday, 20th of October
Richmond, Yorkshire
Just the 1 lap...
I've had 2 or maybe 3 attempts at the Scott but not got round the full course due to being slow and ****. I would like to ride this year as part of a 3-man charity team if possible. Each man/woman rides a third of the course on their own bikes. The Scott trial is a superb event with a fantastic atmosphere both before and after the trial, it also raises several thousands of pounds each year for good causes.
So, who's up for a taste of the toughest 1-day trial in the world?
Each team member would need to tap up friends, family etc. for sponsorship money and then we would lump it all together for charity.
1. Me
2. ?
3. ?
PS
I baggsy the final 1/3rd of the course coz I've never seen it

Well, yesterday was the day!
It should look like this:

But!

It's a real shame that the vault flooded (p*** poor planning?) and must be a huge disappointment to the folk that saw it buried 50 years ago
-
Pretty good vids, I like the bit where you rode down the railway line - any chance you could do it on the back wheel?
-
I'm surprised you did it that quick
Take the jubilee clip off the airbox rubber and spray a little WD40 inside it.
After the fuel pipe and throttle slide have been connected, fit the carb into the reed block rubber and tighten the jubilee clip.
Push the airbox rubber back and fit it around the exhaust side of the carb (you should be on the right hand side of the bike)
Find a thin/slim/bendy/blunt knife and coax the rubber all the way around the carb whilst jiggling the carb up/down and towards the exhaust.
Once on, (30 seconds max) undo the large jubilee clip completely and feed it over the top and around the rubber hose, simply tighten up and job done.
Spend the other 9 minutes sitting back with a smug grin on yer face

Andy, right click and "Save target as..."
Watch continuously and then try it in your Scooby again
-
Stay clear of that Ishy bloke, he's a bad influence when it comes to smoking and drinking!
Plus, he'll probably try to sell you summat
-
-
You'd better make it a 1-way radio link or he'll be ordering beers 'n kebabs...
-
Nah, takes half the fun out of trial

I think the 08 bikes will be the next batch of Rev-4's to be honest, hopefully October at the latest...
My bike has been perfect, most folk on here know that I love my Beta's and would probably defend them even if they weren't spot on. But, I wouldn't say that they were 'right' if they had problems, as that would be unfair on someone who's considering buying one. I can in all honesty say that Beta got it right first time with the Rev-4, which means that the 08 bikes should be even better if that's possible?
I'll be ordering one as soon as they become available
-
Eh! No new plastics with bold graphics?
-
"More what?"
"Morar! where the **** is Morar?"
-
The Beta factory have been very quiet...
I ordered my 07 bike without seeing/riding one in the flesh and would be happy to do the same when the 08 bikes are launched.
My 250 has been 100%r eliable since day 1 so I would not hesitate to buy another...
