  9. I love it that these are hand built in limited numbers. Any commercial business is expected to continuously grow, if the owner is satisfied without the pressure of having to grow quickly then all the better. Reminds me of the new nortons a few years back.

  16. Ive definately had one (198B) which only had the one seal per leg. I have had 198Bs with no split or pinch bolt - I wonder if this was more about them being not finished them rather than by design.
  17. Yes, it should all be in one piece (both flywheel cheeks with the sprocket in the centre. It looks like your outer flywheel cheek has been machined down -ts smaller than a sherpa which has both cheeks the same diameter - I may be wrong as ive never worked on an Alpina. It also looks like they tried to balance it - see the holes drilled in it. Suggests they knew what they were doing. I'd just get another one - reasonably easy to find..
  18. Just used the standard spring and some lockwire. Very small cuts (0.05 - 0.1mm with a sharp tool.
  19. Skim like this... note: the 3 in 1 oil in the picture is not desirable on the shoes!!!
  20. recent Red Rose trial.
