  1. Hey model 80 - I Just got some 90 and 45 degree bends off eBay in thin wall stainless dairy tube, cut up with an angle grinder and got my old man to weld the lot up. Weighs a bit more than original front pipe as the tube is a little thicker but overall the whole system is about 2kgs lighter from memory. Another couple of pics attached...
  2. I'd think at least half the weight model80. I'm guessing inmotion will sell them, I think they're a WES distributor. It'd be nice to get someone to make a curly front pipe in titanium...
  3. Did you get a reply model80? It'd be good to know weight too.. I'd consider one of these, I did my own version to save weight but these look good, might be tempted..
  4. This is it. Nice in conjunction with a Sammy Miller mid box I'd say
  5. WES were advertising alloy club foot replacements in the classic Scottish program. Anyone seen one yet? Any idea of price?
  6. Neil, my 340 runs with air screw at 1 1/2 turns out with a 35 pilot jet. Runs very well on the vm26. Also had a 250 on one, also very nice runner. Both needed a good flood for cold start (lean bike over) but 1st kick when warm. Just fitted an OKO to a Montesa 348 and very impressed, if you don't percevier with the mikuni, an OKO might be a good option - eBay for about £65. Don't be tempted with the cheap ones which are likely copies.
  7. With the extra brackets and rear loop bit I wondered if the first frame on speshal s bike has been used as a sidecar setup? Also interesting box section swing arm
  8. I thought the head to barrel interface was different? One has stepped spigot type from memory
  9. Been using A747 @40:1 in my bulto 340 because it smells great. Used to use putoline mx5 same ratio. Not much smoke and very oily when you strip it.
  10. Laird387, which issue was the article in? Thanks
  11. Lots of interest in my friends Sunbeam today at the Vmcc trial, thought I'd post a pic, for anyone interested it will be competing in the 2016 Scottish.
  12. 1mm will be fine, any larger and you won't be taking advantage of the squish effect..
  13. You could try BSA, think they made a few ?

    Tyres

I've used tubed and tubeless IRC on the Bultaco with akront rims for 5 years or so - always with tubes fitted. Run a 3 psi no problems ever.
  15. Renthal R1 are good but for the price I've found these RK chains to be very good. Remove, wash and lube every trial- will last a couple of years. http://www.dirtbikebitz.com/rk-520-motocross-chain-120-links-p-9303.html
  16. Can't see it being competitive against a 2015 bantam/ariel/cub?
  17. Nice mod, vestys has a conversion on his bike, sits where the cable goes
