Judging by posts on the Ossa forum there is plenty of EFI bikes that won't be polluting anything, any where let alone getting as far as a stream.
Just think of all the pollution Brexit will save, should cut UK politicians and MEPs mileage by quite a bit.

Perhaps if you posted your location someone near you will help. Sounds like a float height (or in wrong way up) problem but far better to have someone who knows what they are doing look at it than wreck it (and possibly your bike as well)
Post it to Dellorto UK.

You do right to air this topic on TC as I will explain later. I do not know Mark Kemp and never dealt with BVM but there are typically 2 routes to your situation.
1) The trader, in ignorance of how irrevocably bad his solvency position really is continues to trade in the hope things get better.
2) The trader has a fair idea the situation is irrevocable and continues to trade to keep his income coming in as long as possible.
The second situation is termed wrongful trading (see 1986 insolvency act) and in continuing to take deposits the trader may be personally liable (beyond the Ltd company's liability)
To claim against Mark Kemps personal assets you need to prove the second situation applies. The more victims you can produce (via TC and other media) the greater the £ involved and the easier it is to prove wrongful trading. You need to contact trading standards (usually via citizens advice) and see what their view is. You may be able to get initial free advice from an insolvency practitioner.
The behaviour of far too many companies is disgraceful and I suggest TC members write to their MPs to get the law tightened on insolvent trading. I presently manage quite a significant budget and rather than allocating that budget effectively and quickly I have to spend far to much time on fraud prevention and consumer protection issues.

"Yes room temp superconductors would be the the ulimate! and can lead to 100%+ efficiency , "
That would be a perpetual motion machine and that is about as likely as me maintaining perpetual motion in the Scott!

Practice by pushing your bike up hills and rivers!

Putting in a new piston without a replate on a rattling engine is a total waste of time and money.

Yes electric motors may have only one (once assembled) major rotating part, but that part in made up of many components. High power to weight ratio electric motors have the same disadvantage as gas turbines, they have to run at very high RPM. High torque / high amp / low RPM electric have to have complex cooling systems if they are to be lightly built.
The present problem with electric vehicles is not the motor, it is the weight of the fuel store. Hydrocarbon fuels are still way, way ahead in terms of energy stored per kg. None of the present batteries comes anywhere near and there is nothing even at the research stage that will significantly close the gap.

What exactly was party political about my post?
Yes the CBT did come in some time in the early or mid 1980s and it was a good idea because it prevented people with no riding experience at all going straight onto the road. When it was first introduced it was usually provided in a few hours on any suitable space near the motorcycle dealer and often the cost was included with the bike purchase. The CBT after EU influence takes a full day, typically costs about £120 plus the theory test about another £50. Also it only lasts 2 years, Why?
Graduated progression before being permitted to drive or ride more powerful vehicles is also basically a good idea. The problem arises when a bunch of bureaucrats who know sweet FA about motorcycling overcomplicate the issue and make it over expensive with few or no positive benefits.
Every year within a hours ride of where I live quite a number of motorcyclists are killed, and in summer there is a serious crash nearly every weekend. Most if not all are aged 40 plus who have taken up motorcycling late in life then got a high powered sports bike after going through the fast track test process. They have virtually no riding experience, only using the bikes for weekend fun in the summer months.
My local road bike dealer will no longer sell 50cc mopeds / scooters because he got fed up with warranty claims because they were being driven flat out all the time. The dealer who I bought my last new road bike ceased trading last year. Warranty claims on blown up 125 engines were a major factor in this. He had to carry about 3 spare engines in stock because they were blowing up frequently due to being driven flat out.
Had I been producing the legislation I would have allowed a 16 year old to have a 250 or 350 but it would have to be electronically limited to say 33 for the first 6 months. Then if no offences or insurance claims let the electronic limiter be increased to 40 mph, then another 6 months to 50 and so on.

I believe the CBT, moped power restrictions, restricting under 19s to 125s and the complex and expensive motorcycle drivers licensing system is putting quite a few off taking up motorcycling and trials. Much of this legislation was because Tony Blair signed the UK up to harmonising UK & EU driving licences before knowing what this would result in. When this legislation was introduced into the UK under the coalition government they saw no safety benefit in it but implemented it as agreed by previous government.
If sufficient people write to their MPs and the ACU & MAG apply enough pressure there might just be a chance that changes beneficial to motorcycling could be made.
You only need to attend motorcycle gathering areas such as Devils Bridge or look at trial results to see that the motorcycling population is aging with very few new young enthusiasts.

Have you tried new fresh petrol, fuel filter condition and fuel pump pressure?
Take the bike to a local automotive diagnostic technician and ask him to check the HT voltage waveform. Should take less than 5 minutes. Most if not all of the Ossas EFI and ignition components can be easily disconnected and individually tested. If bike was mine I would check all the components one at a time and continuity / resistance (under load) in the wiring harness.
ECUs are solid state and generally very reliable
Check the stability and values of the regulated voltage.
Have you tried to check for a spark at the plug or kicked the bike over with the plug lead disconnected or the plug not earthed? If so this could trash the ecu.
Try phoning round ECU testers / repairers in hope that one can test your ECU.

For simplicity, reliability, power to weight ratio and low manufacturing costs a piston ported 2T engine is about as good as you can get. Using modern oils they run very clean, virtually no smoke or deposits.
2 T Gasoline engines invented in 1880s
Batteries were invented several hundred years ago, possibly 2000 years ago.
The electric motor was invented in the 1850s.
So in fact electric propulsion has been around much longer than gasoline 2T yet cannot match it despite its longer development period.
See what happened at this years TT zero.

I find under pressure tyres make the bike feel unstable and squirmy and on most terrain going below a certain pressure does not increase grip, or at least the negative effects of instability outweigh any increase in grip.

Note I said "Whinging Scots" not all Scots. I can well appreciate what an unfortunate position a nation is in when it has so little influence in what is supposed to be a democratic system of government. Strange that in both recent referendums despite a lot of moaning they have voted for the status quo.
Perhaps instead of the status quo they should consider "I want to break free" (Queen), then again if they can't make their mind up they should try "should I stay or should I go" (The clash). If that's not to their liking there's always "making your mind up" (Bucks Fizz) or perhaps they need time to mull it over in Kintyre while the mist's rollin in.

The one that limits motorcyclists to 125cc under the age of 19 and has resulted in the very expensive multi stage motorcycle license.
Also it was a very close call over trailer MOTs, UK governments view that this is not necessary only just prevailed.
The net £10 billion take also must have some effect

As an enthusiastic Brexitter I feel Morgan Freeman's comment is appropriate "I find I'm so excited that I can barely sit still or hold a thought in my head. I think it's the excitement only a free man can feel. A free man at a start of a long journey whose conclusion is uncertain."
My thoughts on / advice to the remainer's who try to pretend the EU is so good "you can polish a turd, but after all the polishing it's still a turd"
Edit PS why don't we let Spain have Gibralter on the condition that they take the whinging Scot's as well.

First rinse it out with petrol then use HG Stove Glass Cleaner

300V is a very good oil that comes in a wide range of grades. 5w-30 is a the less viscous end of the range. It may make the clutch a bit grabby, if so try 5w-40 or 10w-40. 10w-40 works well in trials and MX clutches.

Probably new stickers on same bikes
-
Does the brake work? Have you tried it on the bike?
-
I hope it is more helpful than someone advising 80:1 without knowing they type of use the bike is put to and the state of the engine.
The statements that rich oil ratios gum exhaust are the most misleading. Use a decent oil with the carburetor set correctly and it just does not happen, even at 20 or 25:1

Very probably the low Tension / source coil is faulty. They are usually about £30 to £40. If you can't get them you can rewind them yourself.
Where are you - posting your location often helps people advise you where to get help or parts.
