Yes, the switch will change te mapping, not sure which way it goes on a sherco so switch between the settings to see which is slow and which is go!

There is a service manual which is different than the owners manual you get with a new bike, it is much more detailed in every aspect

The handlebar switch works pretty good especially if you use a High power 9v battery such as an energizer lithium. Ossa has a new capacitor on te 2014 model tat apparently fixes the issue once and for all. I have been in touch with John and the new part should be available I the new year, although price is unknown, I would hope that ossa do not look to profit on this part and sell it to existing owners at cost. The part will retrofit apparently bit no other details are available. I am also in touch with a dealer in the uk to see if I can get this part earlier if possible.

Try someone like Lewisport, I seem to recall they sell TRP shocks that may be suitable, or may be able to offer a solution

Ossa are the same, the quadrant start gear is what makes them difficult as you only have a small number of teeth that turn the crank for a short period so it needs a healthy stab to get things rotating

Hi JSP, can you show a pic of where you put the grease fitting on the head of your OSSA, I have toyed with the idea but always wondered where the best placement would be
