Hi all. I have now bought a 2005 250 pro. Unfortunate user name. I have used the bike about 15 times and the exhaust is starting to get worn by the tyre. Before it is to late is there anybody out there with any tips on this. Any help appreciated.

I prefer the crafty dab. Behind the back of a tree, rock on the blind side of the observer.

I have had one. The mitas are awful. It is like riding with 10psi and the side walls do not give. Heh, at least you won't get a puncture

Does anybody have any ideas on how to remove staining from a ty250 pinky petrol tank? Any advice greatly appreciated.

I've recently bought one of these bikes 1988 vintage with a dodgy clutch. Does anyone know if the engine is common to any Honda imported into the UK please ? I'm thinking of buying a manual for a similar bike but I can't find a bike with an engine that looks the same !! Also there is a funny shaped nut that holds the clutch together with a locking tab does anybody know how tight it should be or what tool is used to tighten it. Any help would be appreciated. 348 mate have you added the longride tank. If you have no furthur use for your racing tank i would buy it off you. I cracked mine at the weekend at the petrol just pours out now.

Out riding today and cracked my petrol tank on my 2001 sy250. Petrol leaks out on quite a big crack. Does anybody know if it could be repaired by being plastic welded. or if they have one for sale lying around, a spare. Please. Has it happened to anybody else? Anybody know how much they are brand new?

I read about this in T and MX news. For scotland it was advising GG riders with 05 bikes with 04 thermostats.

I have never used first in any section on my Scorpa. You can't get the speed to fly up the hills.

I have a 2001 SY 250 racing and it has the usual knock but quite loud. I have had the top end rebuilt with new piston rings and little end, but it is still the same. On the overrun it is loud. But when the throttle is open, even partly, it is much quieter. Any ideas on what causes the knock. I would be very grateful for any help.

All fixed. NGK platinum spark plug arrived today from Birkett. Started first kick and run lovely. Very happy.

It has always backfired but never this often. It is only done it about 3 times in 8 months then about 3 times in 5 minutes

It has always backfired but not this often. Waiting for the plugs to arrive. If they do not work i think it could be the woodruff key. But what i can't understand is that it run lovely for 3 hours on Sunday????? Started first kick and never backfired.

Has anyone seen the Loris Gubian replica sy 125. I saw one at the youth a + b champs. It had all the parts of the 250 and sounded lovely. Just wondering if anyone had one and if i could get some feeback on what they are like.
