  1. What happens if TC supporters want to buy the advertised product, they're missing out?
  2. It were worth losing the feature in order to get back up to speed...Ta boss !
  3. Jeffm,Like we already telt ya !
  4. More like Spain to leave Gas Gas
  5. This is like Gremlins..never feed it after midnight and...Always shut the fuel off when it's dormant and never remove the tank (for any extended length of time ) unless it's empty. You may find that a filled tank swells (due to new fuel additives) when out of the frame and it won't go back until it's been dried out for a while
  6. T'wouldn't bother me none...my left knee is stronger than my right
  7. I had a suspicion it might be that , bloody Reputation interface parameter logarithmic overload ....... Holy 5h1t, good work boss but keep it simple, I'm a Geordie.
  8. My guess is; Beta were limited by their engine design i.e they were lumbered with an engine that rotated the 'wrong' way which decreed which side the drive sprocket would appear thus dictating where the chain would run? Just a thought
  9. I've lost my 'like' button has anyone seen it, I had it a few days ago, I don't know where I've put it?
  10. That's my idea of urban riding, not down the high street, dodging pensioners like that French geeza. Nice tricks, I would imagine that those tyres are 'against you' when you ride those boarded surfaces?
  11. Go easy with the radiator-cover modification, I know it's a great advantage when clearing the 'clarts' (Geordie dictionary needed) but I've seen the matrix perforated because the cover chafes away at it,given enough time.

    Sherco X-Ride

That exhaust on the x-ride looks like the engine is not tuned for trials riding power delivery, nee good to me, I'm glad I can't afford one
  13. 'Gay snowman' I must remember that phrase the next time that I get too ambitious with my choice of curry.
  14. You must be using that special Scotchish Internet: My favourite is 'Chocolate giants disown deep fried Mars bar' http://www.scotlandinter.net/

    2013 Scorpa News

    The 290 is a model not a capacity...The 290 Sherco motors that I've seen are all 272cc anyway (I think? mine's in the garage but I can't be 4r5ed to look )
  17. I'm no expert but I've had a few Shercos: Like the previous post..adjust your lever or/and change to a more viscous transmission fluid first, a couple of oil changes should be opportunity enough for any differences to become apparent. Failing that I would take the clutch plates out and do the 'Beta clutch modification' (http://www.trialscen...eta-clutch-fix/) It worked for me Mr Moderator, can you please move us into the sanctuary of the Sherco forum...Ta!
  18. Cheers , for the advice fellas, I'm on Glucosamine sulphate..and it does help, dunno how/why but it does help Summers are better than winters.
  19. Ditto ..weld a run on the inside of the pegs as Glen, above, says..if you don't and carry on riding you may find you have very sore knees in the near future. Wayne (Auld bloke 45, with the knees of a pensioner)

    Tr280I Massive Smoke

On a bike as recent as this? As internet guesses go..I'm with Baldilocks and suspect FI, on this one
  22. There was a narrow, sharp spread of torque and power which I personally don't like, when the bike revs it revs very quickly. Experts like that, I don't. I had a late 2005 edit 2004 250 with the later, more mellow, 'long' exhaust and a carb spacer fitted from the which helped a little. The bike was a zipper 'n' blipper type. Don't get me wrong I loved the bike.... when I was in the mood. I put more peg-time into that bike than any other I've owned but it was tiring to ride for any great length of time, it really caught up with you on the last lap of a trial. I am a lazy rider and I always search for the easiest bike to ride. I tried a 250 2008 Sherco and it seems like they've addressed that little 'snappy' characteristic . Take my post with a dollop of IMHO
  23. The gearing on a modern trials bike is a pretty minor consideration IMHO.What I would be more concerned about is the fact that a 250 2003 Sherco is a 'snappy' bike (from what I remember)...and the steering is very fast ! I had a spanking 290 2003.. itwer a reet handful
