  1. After first being told that the 300RR's probably were sold out, I got the good news that my dealer managed to get one after all. Nice!

I've just heard Alex Van Den Broek is riding one this year. A club member saw him training with one in Genk. I suppose he didn't have enough Dutch championship titles yet.
  3. All I know is KTM boss said they were interested in making a trials bike, but not for a year or two.
  4. No problems here.
  5. Indeed! Very important and often forgotten.
  6. If the bike is less than a year old, it should fall under warranty if you ask me. My 2008 4RT never had such a problem.
  7. Sorry Crazybond, just to conclude the off topic subject, and I'm quoting here, so don't shoot the messenger: "Worth mentioning is the fact in an effort to ensure the preservation of the brands (Montesa/Honda) high quality standards all the processes of welding, assembly of the engine, plastic mouldings, manufacturing of the fuel tank and-swing arm, as well as the aluminium frames, is also carried out at this facility."
  8. All credit must go to Rtve.es
  9. All's well that ends well. Heating up the engine case to insert the crankshaft: Putting Loctite 510 on the gasket, just to be sure. The work on the engine is done and it's back in the frame: Before: After: Very pleased with the result. Money well spend if you ask me
  10. I read somewhere they even make the plastic parts themselves
  11. My favourite band when I was a kid.
  12. My cable company had Motors TV, I paid extra for it, and now they have stopped with it.

  14. Oh well, at least you'll know what to do on these cold winter days. Are you gonna do a complete rebuild now the cases are split?
  15. Great video, thanks to Eric Lejeune. Live book plastiflac & distriflac trial
  16. Nothing wrong with "light gear oil", it's recommended by Beta, Montesa and GasGas. But use the same oil for flushing as you're going to use for riding.

You'll have to try it. Just hot enough so "steam" comes off the disc when you pour water on them. One can also take out the pads out, and clean them with a wire brush and brake cleaner. But put the pads in the same place back. After washing the bike, I always go for a little ride applying the brakes until they're dry and work properly to prevent such problems. This also prevents corrosion of other parts like the chain, engine parts etc.
  18. guys replied to greeves's topic in Bultaco
All of Europe was in an economic crisis at that time. So blaming mainly the union, isn't fair i.m.o. They had to follow state directives to receive grants to keep the company alive. For instance, keep the full workforce, when only producing a fraction of what they did before. So maybe all help came too late, maybe Bultaco was doomed to die. And democracy, at any level, isn't a magic solution for everything, but it's the best we've got.
  19. Yes, forgot to mention those are the ones I have, sorry.
  20. Although a bad one, this must be a joke. Right? https://nowthisnews.com/st-joseph-la-has-been-suffering-a-water-crisis-for-a-decade-9
  21. Or lower the spring "pre load" on the rear shock a bit. Gives a bit more traction, without losing too much of the benefit of the linkage kit.
  22. Pro's I noticed very well: Makes the rear more responsive when jumping on larger obstacles. I didn't hit the bash plate so much on big pipes and such. And it slightly steepens the steering head angle, making sharp turns, becomes a bit easier. As Oni Nou says, you'll have to buy and try it. They're not that expensive.
