  1. Please elaborate
  2. I wouldn't use it anymore, you're gonna put strains in other places that could for instace damage other mounting points or make the existing damage worse. A specialist welder might be able to fix it,but it's an elaborate work and it would probably be necessary to make reïnforcements to the mounting point. Aluminium castings usually contain contaminations that make it hard to make a strong weld, and if it's magnesium it's even more difficult to weld if not impossible. A second hand part might be the best solution if you can find one. This might help: http://www.allensusedtrialsspares.co.uk/# Good luck with the repair.
  3. Weird is good But I like stuff like this too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_rJcdl_Vlc and this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Py_-3di1yx0&feature=youtube_gdata_player and so on...
  4. I can see in this picture that it takes one pas to go around the recess to make a hole and about 3 to make a recess. And if you take in to account that in most sprockets that I have seen, the holes are made either by lazer, water jet or stamping, I think it takes more work to make a recess. As I am always prepared to learn more about my trade, I would like to know how you come to your conclusions. I hope the didn't offend anyone, lost my patience for a moment

Mud guards, snail cams, foot rests and the positioning on the lawn, i've seen something similar before...

  7. Alright then, machining a recess takes longer than machining the same shape right through. It won't take long, but will take longer which is my point, I thought that was obvious by now...
  8. Hi and welcome, from a Sherpa owner
  9. Put a tie strap around the tyre to force the side walls to the outside, than put some air in the tyre, with a compressor, until it seats properly, than remove the strap and inflate the tyre further
  10. Me too...
  11. Yes Jimmie, and the events that are ridden on Belgian soil for the Belgian Championship, are even a bit tougher and are under the no-stop rule.
  12. And still there are people saying that there's no reliability problem with today's bike. I had to change the front brake master cylinder on my 2012. Things like this shouldn't happen
  13. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsGUmyiv-C4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCRbnve_8l4&feature=youtu.be In the last clip of this video, and the last section he had to ride, you can see that Toon had a flat rear tyre. He still won the event
  14. Why have they waited so long to do this is what I would like to know. The technology is there for a while now...
  15. Whats the point in these speculations? Or do you have some proof to back it up? Did you hear the water sloshing around in the tyre maybe
  16. Why shouldn't it be on the minimum limit?
  17. The sound in the slo-mo parts remind me of these tractors : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhQa5Ji3rtA
  18. Nice filming but lousy music
  19. I understand your point but I don't think not going is the solution. At least I'm going to the world Championship when it's held in Belgium
  20. Thanks but yes, I've seen it and I did the upgrade as mentioned but no luck I'm going to mount the AJP master cilynder that came of my 4RT to be sure...
  21. Had a competion today for the Belgian Championship on the beautifull grounds of the Trial Club Warken in Luxembourg. And altough I've put a new front brake piston kit in the Fomula master cilynder in october of last year, today the piston again didn't move freely. Looks like the O-ring has swollen again
  22. Hi and welcome. Some nice pictures you've got there.
