my mate was out on his evo today, he went down a steep gully side and the front mudguard caught on
the front pipe and snapped the back section of the front mudguard off, not good for a bike less than
6 hours old. i cant belive that with all the testing the must have done this didnt happen. he also says
that after washing off the bike the air box always has water in the bottom and no drain plug.

Neo says on the can Hammerite smooth red metal paint which is a 400ml aerosol
but they must only do one colour of red as there is no other info other than red

i also have an 09 300 raga and its fantastic to ride, its like a push bike with an engine
only down side is the red paint near the foot rests is coming off other than that no major
problems

i ve used red smooth hammerite spray and its very hard to tell the difference

i have just changed my gearbox oil on an 08 raga, and on peterb's recomendation
i have got 4.55lits of carlube atf dexron III from my local car shop for

peter b i am correct in thinking that you turn the air screw all the way in and
then turn it out one full turn ?
is the in line filter just one of those clear plastic ones put in the middle of the fuel pipe ?
i have also used 100ml of castrol tts in 5lit of petrol for the first 2 mixes what do i mix to now ?
what gear box oil would you recomend, i have some elf htx740 left over from my 4rt
i have fitted mine with rear the gold 42 tooth and a slow action throttle
and i am loving it so far, but i have come from a 4rt so not up on carb set ups
any help would be great

as a gas gas virgin can anyone give me any tips to trouble free riding
ie
anything i need to do from new
what oils to use both in the gearbox and in the petrol
could i use elf htx740 in the gearbox as i have some left from my 4rt

i have been seduced by the lure of a gas gas 300 raga rep
i am going to try ride both at a test session and keep which ever i like best
so i my have a 08 raga 300 up for sale instead
we will be riding at tong tomorrow (sat 6th) if you fancy a ride out

i cant remember what years they changed what but i think they have changed the following
cam shaft
throttle body program
clutch
front suspension
exhaust back box
look out for my advert here as i might have an 08 4rt coming up for sale in the next few weeks

how easy ere they to fit ?
and with one blade missing wont the fan just keep coming on more often ?

i have had a misshap this weekend, whilst i was washing off my bike around the radiator i got
the fan spinning with water, i then got to close with the end of the pressure washer and i have snapped
off a blade from my fan........bugger !!!!!!!
will the bike run ok in this state ?
what parts can i buy Ie can i buy the blade or just the full fan ?
any help would be welcomed

that place in yorks only ok if you want 100 of each colour
the bloke on ebay sells them in 20s which is enough for
a good size section, and they are very tough

i have just booked to go to one of grahams trials schools at home farm, tong, bradford
in february, it costs

if you look at the photos of when dabster got his, the pdi was a bit poor
the bars were swinging around the tank, and unless he was riding it like that
some of the wrapping should have come off.
or was that a gery import ?

nigel did you remove your own throttle body restrictor ?
liam87 you will know if its in as when you try to give it a hand
full of gas it fluffs, take it out and its off like a rocket.

i bought mine from raptor direct over at the other side of bradford, go
to there website and email them, very nice people

ask your dealer to take it out, or if not then get them to show you where
it is on the bike, or if not i can send you photos

nigel if you mean the big washer with the smaller hole drilled in
which is in the rubber between the ecu and the engine then
yes that ones out but none from the exhaust, the only other
things i have done is technosyl as much as i can, raptor footrests
and hangers, better sump guard and jitise air filter.
just waiting for gizza5 to get me some frame and engine guards

the 08 4rt is a whole different kettle of fish, its miles better then the 05 bikes, i sold my 05
bike with the PTB on it and i had fitted a 43t rear sprocket and taken the front two restrictors
out of the exhaust. with my 08 i havnt touched any thing its all as standard from the factory
and its fantastic, dont forget that from an 05 bike to an 08 they have alltered the clutch,
cam shaft, exhaust, suspension, and smoothed out the power. i ride with two guys who have
05 4rts and they cant belive the difference, it makes you smile every time you get on it !!!!!!!!!!

they ride fantastic, smoother power, less noise, better clutch and in my
mind they look s**t hot. i rode on sunday with 2 05 4rts 1 08 290 sherco
and 1 06 250 rev3 at home farm tong, we set up a section and i kicked
all there asses and the guy on the 08 sherco wants rid of it for an 08 4rt.
cant wait for tomorrows west of leeds trial
