only one mod left to make better sump guard, the stock one is made from kit kat wrappers.
interesting to hear a few of you dont use the flame basket with a jitise filter
i was told to keep it in, but i dont know who by.

miked, check that fact about the grooved plates with sandifords because
when i rang i was all for changing the full clutch to an 06 one, geoff there
mechanic told me that out of three sets of plates only one is different between the
05 and 06 and that they were fibre. he told me if the larger cylinder didnt fix it just take
the clutch apart and emery cloth all the faces of the steel plates dont bother to go for the 06
plates you wont need it, and he was bang on.

-
before you go to all that messing about, i would try the larger master
cylinder i have just fitted one to my 05 4rt and is like a new bike,
starts better in gear, finds netural better, and is so much smoother
and a lot less on off, as recommend by sandifords mechanic.
cost about
-
FF its got a michelin on and its tubeless
-
steveo i cant answer why.
but i have just fitted the 315 larger master cylinder to
my 05 4rt and the differance is mind blowing is finds netural better it starts in
gear better its smooth and less on off like it was before, and all
my mates who ride two strokes are very impressed with it.
i spoke to sandifords and there mechanic Geoff said try the master cylinder
first and if i was still having problems the take the clutch apart and rough up
all the steel plates with emery cloth, the did not recomend a replacement

i have had a case today of my back tyre coming off the rim, thoutht
it was a puncture but after taking the tyre off cleaning everything and
refitting it i cant find owt wrong with it, just wondered if i am running it
a bit on the low side 4.5psi.
jsp
-
fantastic, smooth and soft at the bottom then flick the switch and its a fourth gear hill
monster, i have also just fitted a 315 clutch cylinder so things are top notch at the moment.
jsp
-
has any one got any thoughts on mods for the 05 clutch
i am having problems finding netural and also starting in gear has
become nearly impossible.
i have spoke to sandifords an it seems that the 06 clutch has just
one modified set of plates in it, but just wondering what any one else
has done (ie mitini plates, 06 plates, 315 master cylinder) and the results they got.
cheers

i will let you know i am waiting for <mention of this company is not permitted on Trials Central> to get the next batch of
2 ptb and than shes off in for one fitting, plus thats all i can afford so
there will be no new front pipe.
i also have raptor foot pegs and hangers, the quality is second to none, and the bike seems
to grip better maybe its all in the mind.
jsp
thats it the new ptb was fitted yesterday so today will be my first
test ride and then next week post hill with west of leeds for real.

-
i ride as a clubman and have an 05 4rt, i find it very nice to ride and the grip is always there
just back the power of and it grips, you can tell from the tyre wear that its not spinning but gripping, the suspension is bang on and the build quality is the best by far. i am looking to getting an 07 maybe
with the programable throttle body if i can afford it.
jsp
-
ff have you got any ptb in yet as the web site says out of stock
but its said that for a while
jsp
-
that seems a swizz no programable throttle body on whats classed as the works
replica bike and then it will look a year older, i think montesa might have problems
getting people to part with there cash for the 06 repsol which is what you are getting.
anyone know the cost difference between them both yet ?
jsp
-
got to have a 07 repsol no matter the cost
it looks fantastic, does it have the programable throttle body on
-
whats the web site so i can drool
-
theres some on ebay item number 220024966357
jsp
-
when i fitted my 43t sprocket i also put on a 520 chain which was 101 links and cost about
-
a coulpe of good ideas but buy the time i have bought the plastic and the wood or the d mould
and the spray paint ready made would be cheaper, do think it would cost less to post if they
where smaller ?
jsp
-
who is the g jarvis at number 130 is it another one ?
-
has anyone got any of these if so are they any good ?
got to better than trying to make my own

just i live in featherstone and theres not much about locally
jsp
-
has anyone heard any news if there will be a 06 repsol replica coming out
or if there not bothering this year ?
jsp
-
just after a bit of feed back from the 4rt owners out there who are running
with the mitani titanium front pipe on,
1. are they worth the money
2. do they really alter the performance of the bike
3. do the alter all the performance right through the revs or is it all bottom end
4. am i better off saving my cash for a reprogramable throttle body whatsit
5.do you need to take out any of the restrictors
or has any one tried one of the powercraft ones yet
thanks
jsp
-
