i spoke to lampkins about the jet on my 2010 3004t and the told me to leave it all alone and
just turn the mixture screw out 3 1/2 turns, as i messed about with the carb set up on my
rev 4 300. but the evo seems fine as it is. as for the clutch mod a friend of mine swears
by replacing the clutch master cylinder for one off a 2004 beta as it holds more liquid and
the bore is bigger

ive just turned the tickover up on mine, and its very hard to stall,

only problem with a brake pedal that sticks out more is its easier to bang it on things
and at £50 a go you dont want to have to replace to many of them. it should stick out about
25-30mm ish from your sump guard

how can someone as skinny as you strip a thread, or was your lass putting
your bike back together ?
-
mines a 4 stroke you cant take the casing off after every ride
as you would need to replace the gasket every time

bugger !!!!
at least tong is open that day so all is not lost if they have to
cancel it.

I ve been told the factory bike is more aimed at expert riders, and the std
bike is what clubmen riders should be looking at. think i will give them a year
or so to iron out the problems.

red and blue mark the hard course with yellow and white to lessen the sections for the clubmen
at the harder points and green and orange markers only mark out for the easier route, so your
not riding to sections looking for the 50/50 signs. hope that makes some kind of sense.

-
the horsforth trial was a belter, sections where spot on another few rides for the new
flagging system to sink in and happy days. even the weather couldnt spoil it. sounds like
west of leeds, horsforth and spen valley are all going to be using the same flag system so
thats even better

a friend of mine picked up his 2011 250 sherco about 6 weeks ago
and that has the new rear morad rim on it, the front forks have two
names on them, paiolli on the adjusters and ceraini on the fork
legs (sorry if the spellings not correct)

over the last couple of rides on my 2010 Ev0 3004t i have an intermitant problem,
it wont seem to rev out cleanly, mid revs it sounds like its been starved of fuel
its had a new plug, the carb was cleaned a week ago. when i got home after riding
if i drained the fuel tank and found a small amount of water in the bottom of what
i had draind out, i refueled with new fuel ran it on tick over and with revs and up
and down my drive for an hour and the problem seems to have cleared has anyone else
had a problem like this, and if so how do i stop it happening
jsp
-
had my rev 4 do it, i used kettle water around the water pump and that
did the trick. i drained out some of the water in the rad and added more
coolant and its been fine ever since
