  4. ask shirty what the mixture should be. sound like themixtures a bit rich.
  5. yep, fast action throttle is standard and even put on the modifications list for 06.
  6. i put Doug down in the poll but we all know that it is JAMES DABILL whos gunna win
  7. i think that the rules are that you can stop for nothing but if you ride out side the time limit its a five
  8. sounds like your jets are the wrong size, i think you have to change them from standard and i do have the sizes i'll find them and post them later
  9. just wondering if anyone went. i did and it was a great oppertunity to compare bikes on a ground that catered for all aspects of the sport. i know matthew and adam jones were there messing about. cheers
  10. as said above all the bikes are good but there are some large difference in the ridding style they suit. i'd say that you shouldn't buy a bike until you've tested it compared to the other bikes on the market and it decided it is the best bike for you. i live in good old Yorkshire as well and i think you should get in touch with cobb & jagger motorcycle as they'd sort you out. hope this helps
  11. not sure yet but i will say that you won't be disapointed!
  12. if you live in the UK send it back to shirty jr. if not send it to your nearest dealer/importer
  13. take back what i said. GREAT BIKE. just confused are decsision on what bike to buy even more!!!!!!!!!!
  14. james lampkin could of gone back to beta because john (lampkin) is his uncle (i think )
  15. AtomAnt, the shercos suspension feels to soft for me and does not react the way i would like. also the clutch is very sharp but still rides pretty well. dont know if they've improved this or not
  16. im sorry if im wrong but have you got raptor racing foot pegs on there? but the handlebar bend does look very subtle
  17. just wondering if anyone knows why alexz has a 125 and a 250. and is he doing the world rounds next year. cheers
  18. i am not planning on buying another sherco 125 as there an alright bike but my style of riding doesnt seem to suite the bike very well. GASGAS 125 ALL THE WAY. but ill be there anyway, a rides a ride!!!!!!!!!! are you going (n.wales_sherco_lad1) cheers
  19. yeah and he will be almost certainly on the mont as fuji etc. not sure if frexia has qualified but he might be on the scorpa 4 stroke if he has. I ALSO KNOW WHO THE WILD CARD IS But im not saying haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa p.s sorry if i got over excited.
  20. i think wiggy would beat Oliveras most days having watched them both ride but he is miles off Dabill but this is partly as wiggys still on a 125. sanz can't come near his him when shes on an easier course than him. i havent seen smage ride but i can tell you now that in america sponsorship is more avalible and you have to be a less accomplished rider to get it. you can't really compare wiggy to sam as i dont think they've ridden an event together where they were on the same cc bike (sam also has been beaten on his 250 by alexz more than twice). and i dont think smage has ever ridden abroad so the condition change could prove vital in his pursuing of his hopes.
  21. just thought that i should say thanks to dabster for recommending me to contact the wiggs they've been great help. cheers
  22. hensley your lad won't no the difference between a 03 200cc and a 06 125cc i'm 13 and 125's can pull my weight without any problem so an 11 year old would be fine and if you really want more power there are plenty of after market mods you can buy. and unless your sons an absolute pro then the power should not really be a huge problem. if you've ever seen alexz wigg ride and he must be 6 foot plus it can pull him up some huge steps. but if your son really wants a 200 you might as well get a fresh engined 06 as you know its history then. hope this helps
