  1. jools i dont see y i'd lie. and it does as i can tell you from feel and from what john shirt states on his website and i did mention that it increases the mid to top end power range.
  2. jets in a 125 Keihin, main 118, pilot 42, needle JJH with clip on middle, 3.5 slide,
  3. havent seen him for ages just wanted to know if anyone had seen him lately or knows were he is
  4. no ive heard that you can fit them to shercos but i think beta have a carb that is an aftermarket mod but i imagine it would solve the jet, float issue and crispen that power delivery as well as helping it to rev out cleanly were as the kehin softens the bottem end slightly while increasing the mid to top end power range (bit sad i know but i read up on it )
  5. anyone know if the ignition mapping switch works.
  6. about to buy an 06 125 and was just weather anyone had tips as we were thinking of 1. kehin carb 2. high compression head 3. 9t-48t sprokets thanks
  7. yeah and it is the way you ride your bike that would contribute to the time it lasts but as i said mines going to be replaced every 6 months cheers
  8. bit arsh but i see your point. we were thinking of getting a gasser every 6 months. and ive ridden a new beta a couple of trials ago and to be honest i couldnt see it doing what i wanted it to do but it did quite a few large steps. still cant learn to ride them propoly as i can't get to grips with there width. sticking with a gasser as it has a vasterpower range and the amount of power is also considerably greater in comparison to the beta but thanks for your advice any way. cheers
  9. cheers for the tips. anyone know what alexz wigg uses on his bike anything special? cheers
  10. lloyd have you got a high compression head on your bike. cheers
  11. good to know anyone recommened any other mods cheers
  12. first you need to be able to lift your front wheel with almost no throttle and no speed then you tap your back brake just so your front wheel drops slightly to a stand still with your clutch in then apply a little blip with compression of the rear suspension and it should hop then as it comes back down hit your brake and repete. dont see how this helps because in nationals the most i've ever done is a slight flic turn and your never going to need it but there you go.
  13. saw the new beta today. looks great but im still sticking with a gasser as the beta 125 still doesnt have any power at all and when i had a go on my mates as lloyd says when you aproach a large step you have to rev the b****** off the thing but when you do it just splutters just where you need the power. but i have been told that you can ask the dealer or john lampkin to rejet it for you for a small cost but it should be sorted out at the factory
  14. paul w do you have a blue gasgas and do yeadon and guiseley events???
