A Proper Look At The Trs Chassis
I don't think not being on the podium at world level will affect sales. Do people really buy a montesa because of it winning at world level?

What's Going On With Gas Gas
I would imagine that in a couple of months they could be selling bikes again. Totally different scenario assembling bought in components to actually manufacturing those components. It's a good bike with a good reputation so will be a very attractive purchase to the right person.

Your not from Yorkshire then?

Tyres
I tested a new type IRC last week. Supposedly sorted the deflation issue. Actually it was worse than the older versions and they were bad. It went from 4 psi to 0 psi in 5 sections on hardly any rocks and half a mile. I carried a pump for the rest of the day and pumped it up after 3 or 4 sections all day.

What's Going On With Gas Gas
It's certainly a very turbulent time in the trials world. Nearly 50% of trials bike manufacturers haven't a new bike available for sale in the UK.

50/50
50/50 route is where you do some sections from one route and some from another. It's supposed to be the easier sections from the harder route and the harder sections from the easier route. A lot of clubs get it right but there are plenty who get it wrong. If you want three routes then lay out three routes in my opinion.

Entertaining? I just find the constant bickering tiresome!

To Gas Gas Or Not To Gas Gas
Seriously there are that many Gas Gas about that even if the factory never started again parts suppliers would spring up like weeds. There is good money made in spare parts and remember gas gas only assembled bikes so parts will be available from the original manufacturer no doubt.

What's Going On With Gas Gas
Just be aware that there is more chance of a buyer for Gas Gas now than before. Things could change very quickly once the liquidator is in a position to sell the assets.

Raga Looking For Finance To Complete Season.
Not wanting to put a dampener on things but why would we be paying towards him riding world rounds. I assume he has been earning a decent wage for many years. There are quite a few from the UK going without any financial whip rounds!

Raga Looking For Finance To Complete Season.
I really doubt that many people buy a bike because of its world round performance. I am sure more will of been impressed by the Vertigo getting through the SSDT. If we were all swayed by world round performances then Montesa would be the best selling bike by far. I think the Vertigo would sell without a top rider.

Raga Looking For Finance To Complete Season.
This is where the world championship goes wrong. Lots of good venues can't be used because they haven't the infrastructure to accommodate all the big trucks and associated stuff. I know loads of venues that would be excellent world rounds but don't meet the FIM requirements

Gasgas, Ossa, Jotagas.....news?
Don't panic. This news is just a step in the right direction. Gas Gas without its debt will be a very saleable item.

Ssdt 2015 Chat
I think James got caught out by one of the swing bridges. If you get there when it's starting to open its a long wait. Really needs a time control marshal on the bridges but not practical as they only open occasionally. I had to wait for two of them one year. Also time was too tight for the mileage involved and when it's bad weather then it turns into an enduro.

This One Stumps Me.......
When was this method of marking in use. I have never heard of it in the UK.

Japan Wtc - Non Stop
Spot on there Gizza 5 and perce. Unless you have done Scotland a few times you really don't understand what the event is. And yes it's getting too hard and tight on time. It needs to be eased off a bit so it's not a race. The top lads are really having to ride extremely well to go round on the low scores that they do. It was known as a club man's holiday but I know some very good riders who won't do it again as it's got to the point that it's a struggle all week.

2015 Fim World Gp Trial Japan
Seems wrong to have what is really a man made trial as part of the world outdoor championship. The aim of the FIM was for more natural non stop sections I thought.
-
Inevitable Consequence?
This is where we have an issue. Spectators want spectacular, exciting stuff. Top riders like big steps which they can do easily. But for the rest of the riders it's daunting and possibly dangerous. So the FIM bring in no stop to try to make sections a bit better for all. But the organisers make sections too big and dangerous for no - stop and the problems continue. There isn't any obvious cure!

Mid Wales S3 Championship Results 5Th April 2015
Very enjoyable trial. Lots of suitable sections on the easy route and the hard route looked sensible. The Lomax hard route looked to be a different standard with too many big time sections not in keeping with the club man's championship.

Trials Marker Pins
Just use 2.5mm high tensile galvanised fencing wire from an agricultural merchant. this has the desired springiness and strength.

Jotagas - Still In Business?
To be fair to Steve Saunders if the factory had stuck to its original strategy things may of been a lot better for all. Remember Tarres and some others who set Jotagas up left because the company was trying to run before it could walk. It was said then that this was the wrong way to go and it looks like it was. Steve was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Any salesman knows that if you say that the factory is struggling and your bike is unlikely to come any time soon then that customer will go elsewhere. If he spins them out with promises then some will wait. He has had to go personally and collect the bikes and come back with them missing components at times. I'm sure the bike is good and with some quality components would survive.

Cold Finger?
Fit heated grips. Splatshop sell them specially developed for trials bikes.
