Steady Ishy it's not his birthday until the end of the month. :santa1:

Talk nicely to Derek & he will probably let you do a Trial on the bike of your choice.
-
Our Clubs TY80 course is run on a conducted basis, it just gives the little ones a little more chance to see what goes on. What normally happens is that on the first lap they all go round together & then on subsequent laps they circulate like at a normal Trial.
-
A GasGas Pro rear wheel is not the same as a Sherco rear wheel, the offset to the disc is not the same. It will fit in & go round OK but it will wear the caliper away as it rubs.
Cheapest way to get a wheel is to find one for the pre 2001 bikes & then get someone to machine it for you to suit the newer type brake caliper arrangement.

I realy think it's time the under 12s should be banned from using this board.

I cut & pasted this from Todo Trials report on a visit to planet Scorpa. Seems team Crosswaite don't think you Scorpa boys in the UK can't handle a weapon with a bit of welly.
The motors arrive at factory from Japan and here, first it changes to the oil, the spark plugs to them, since the Champion has a better behavior than the NGK, since the motor with them is more docile and the answer is better. Next, hydraulic clutch mounts to them and a lighter steering wheel of inertia, to make the motor most alive. The exception is the one of the models destined to Great Britain, where a behavior to the British style is preferred more, with lower, more adapted for the embarradas zones of the islands, reason why the steering wheel of original inertia stays to them.

Had the passport stamped for another trip to Yorkshire eh?
Were you the only RMC member present?

I'll echo this point, if you go the right dealer they will support you when things go wrong. No matter which brand of bike you buy if the dealer who sold you it can't or won't fix it when things go wrong, stop using them!
-
Hey Boydie why the new handle?
What was up with GOGOJESSIE?
-
Good job your giving 6 months free advertising, what do you think Andy?

Good point.
Half legal, is that like being half pregnant (but of course not in a gay way)
I just feel a bit better with something that looks vaguely like a plate - got stopped a few months back on my old bike and the young Mr Plod (about half my age) looked at the BSI stamp and thought it was all legal ! Perfect
I normally do have a properish plate on but since I smashed my mudguard off on the wheely bin I've been using a ratty old mudguard that I scrounged at Whites. I just can't face putting nearly

I made my last number plate from the blue duct tape I nicked out of Dabsters van, I then wrote on it with the big fat black felt pen I carry in my toolbox. Are any of the methods noted above any more or less legal than my efforts?

There's nowt like a good 'outing' is there.

Archives of British news is available from:-
http://www.itnarchive.com/ or
http://www.britishpathe.com/index.cfm
Use the Pathe site for stills but with ITN site you can view the films as well.
All I did was register & then I typed in 'Scott Trial'
Anyone with an interest in modern history will get lost in here for weeks, for example the scope of subjects available for the WW2 nut is amazing.

Some clutches rattle more than others, certainly my 03 is noisier than my 02 was. It's nothing what so ever to worry about.
As for gearbox explosions I think your as likely to believe this second hand B*****ks as I am.

I'm considering buying one of these in the near future. It's mainly for CAD work but if it does good colour photos it would be a bonus. It would also mean one less printer in my house, I currently have an A1 plotter, an A3/A4 laser & an A4 inkjet.
If anybody has any experience of the 3000 please get in touch.
The 4000 is a new model.
