If you're on the Grouse moor after 2 - 3 hours it'll be pretty lonely. Route runs the other way this year.

What's up Dave not getting a good deal on the beloved Scorpa?
To quote you from an earlier Gas gas topic:-
Wouldnt touch a pro with a barge pole personally, too many have broke down in my area, but each to there own. Most people where i live say Gas Gas UK dont want to know when something goes wrong with them, so who do you believe ? I'll stick with my trusty Scorpa thanks.

My spare wheel started off fitting a pre 2001 Scorpa. I know someone with a big lathe & he remachined it to suit, basically 8mm was taken off the hub on the disk side & it also had to be machined this depth to take the bearings. Including buying new bearings the cost of all this was less than

Same as SSDT, Michelin tyres & Renthal R1 chain

when you've drunk the contents sometime before petrol check 1 what do you do for the next 6 & a bit hours? Stopping to fill it must waste loads of time?
-
-
Oh yes we do, some pillock has nicked drink off my can in the last two Reeth three day Trials,
Scott is a little bit different as the 6 petrol checks aren't self service, each petrol check has a team who dish the fuel out.

Don't bother wearing your waterproofs all they'll find of you is a puddle where you passed out.
Carry as little as possible. Pump, turds & pusher, adjustable, screw driver & the odd allen key. fasten the lot on the bike if possible.
As you've realised time will be so tight, if you have a major problem a visit to the CB Inn is your best bet.
Petrol checks 1 & 6 are the same so you have one FULL can here.
Checks 2 3 4 & 5 are all individual so you need a can for each of these but only put a tankfull of gas in each one.
You need your number on each can so they are easily found in the checks.
I always fasten a drink to my petrol cans.
Something you no longer need to do is make a number board as the club provide them.
-
My 1997 250 Gas Gas had a silver tank & rear mudguard with a red front mudguard.
If I remember correctly you could get the bike in red or silver finish just like now when you can get one in a choice of finishes.
-
I've owned 3 pros & to date I've caused no serious damage to the front pipe on any of them. I've certainly not flattened or dented one, just the usual scuffs & marks you would expect from regular use.
-
your kidding right?
how come they didn't put a carb on that worked right in the UK until the year 2000 model?
-
I'm sure Andy won't mind me answering...............
NO WAY DOPEY

Same club, different committee. There's a lot of work involved in being the Scott Secretary so someone else does it.
-
The number Yamaha dude has given is NOT the one for the Scott secretary.
Regs for the Scott will appear on here just as as soon as they are available.
