  1. Well let's hope they've worked out how to give the 4 bang fat lass a bit more whizz before then or we won't being seeing them indoors next year.
  2. giving a whole new meaning to trials riders being tight with their cash !! Common practice realy, what do you think you do if you want a halfy halfy one? Another method of extending the slot is use two hacksaw blades taped together.
  3. mmmmmmmmm I'm sure the Spanish saw it this way for a few years too.
  4. If you want a tool to carry round at a Trial try this:- http://www.machinemart.co.uk/product.asp?p...60&r=2079&g=111 buy additional bits:- http://www.machinemart.co.uk/product.asp?p...78&r=2079&g=111 Then you should have all the hex heads / screwdrivers you need to carry. For home I have a set of Britool T-hex, they cost less than a night out on the sauce.
  5. If anyone is interested I have TY80 Whitehawk rolling chassis (which from memory I have a spare front & rear tyre for) which I don't think I will ever need. I also have a complete TY80 which could be used for the donor bike. Please contact me through PM or Email.

    Lessons Learned

Don't go wasting your brass Kinell I know of a good supply of little in your pocket bottles, I sell you one cheap. My guess about Drachs tool tube would be one of the ones that used to come with Fantics, I believe they also come with KTMs, so have a word with Mark Jackson. If you haven't got a back pack where do we put your lucky stone?
  7. He may find that Carol Nash have moved the goalposts lately regarding multibike policies & when he needs to renew it will cost considerably more.
  8. I think you've been reading the Kinell book on how to get lost, couldn't you find Cold Knuckles today? DOMINIC COLEMAN SHE G RI 12 31 32 53 21 50 31 53 53 55 35 25 MM MM 33 32 53 M/S
  9. The rules in the UK mean that 14 year olds have to ride a 125.

    04 Pro 300

Pictures of my 05 pro. Exhaust brackets were modified before the bike was used by Al the Spanner at White Bros. I rode last years SSDT with the bike as per standard but the middle box exhaust mounts were cracked by the end of the week.
  11. They've both signed up to ride Mont 4 strokes but daren't tell Rhoda.
  12. Found this while lurking about :- http://trial.lachatre.free.fr/
  13. What do you do for accomodation / showers etc. & how do you get your van to where you stay each night?
  14. http://www.motoclubabadesses.com/ for the organising club, although there is little on the site at the moment. The entry details are usually available 4 - 6 weeks before Easter. They usually run 3 routes, the middle route probably equates to UK national sections, everything's pretty big but dry & grippy.
  15. If you want a longer trip try the Santigaso 3 day which is usually held on the Easter Weekend.
  16. All very true John but I think what Dabster is trying to point out is why as a Sandifords sponsored rider were you not at a round of a British Championship event in which you are eligable to score points?
  17. But bear in mind the first ones to get the bikes are the 'works' riders you would expect a 'works' challenge for the first National Trial of the year.
  18. OK smarta*** I should have said the 23rd of January. Can I have your full name so I can get you excluded from the results?
  19. I think you will have to Observe at Telfit on the 20th as there is not a 'B' class run at this event as the ride round is too difficult for the younger children. Next Trial for you is Parkgate near Wensley on the 20th of February.
  20. Good point Dude I must have missed that one, I do find this a bit strange seeing as though someone I know had a fair bit of difficulty shifting his 04 125 on recently. I still think you should be sticking with a 125 however, get it properly fettled by someone who knows how a trials bike works & your Dad will save a load of money in the long run.
  21. Who told you that one? 125 for you until you are 17
  22. Due to your age GGTXTPRO you have to ride a 125. I assume that you are still B class next year?
