  1. Apparently Liotard is French, he came 3rd to Wiggy last year. Trial far too easy Wiggy had a couple of soft fives, one of which was for breaking a tape that had been moved from where it originally had been placed.
  2. I just typed what Dabster texted.
  3. Youth Class:- Liotard 10 Wigg 13 Danby 20 Morsell 20 Gomez 21 Text info sent by The Dabster.
  4. So why don't Clubs put regs etc on here? Some of us don't bother buying comics so rely on TC or word of mouth to know which Trials to go to.
  5. Seeing as though Dabster does a bit of minding for Wiggy he may know that! I think he wants to know about the kids on the other side of the pond.
  6. I think that realy happened some time ago.
  7. Results now posted on front page:- http://www.trialscentral.com/cms/showartic...?articleID=1365
  8. For the last 4 months including SSDT I've ridden a 250 having previously owning 4 280's. The only thing I have different to how they come is fitting an inlet spacer, this was intially to move the carb back to stop it falling out of the airbox! I don't find it stalls but I do ride on the clutch quite a bit & I do have a resonably high tick over set. Standard gearing can be a little high for some, I suggest dropping a tooth on the front sprocket works best. I've tried this & it does work quite well but the bike is woefully slow on the road. Never tried a weight on the flywheel, I think it'll slow it down too much & make it docile, I prefer a fairly zippy motor. I'm now waiting for JJ White to come out practicing with us again so I can a spin on his 250 fitted with a Keihin carb.
  9. Yes I agree ! But to do that, I would have to enter 2280 bits of information instead of 570. There were only 4 clashes which need a cleans count and it took just a few minutes to check them out. If would of taken much longer to put the other 1710 numbers into the spreadsheet and do it automatically. I could make it do that for peeps who want to do it like that. it would be no problem! regards Most sets of results I see in the North of England carry full section results, ours have done for quite some time. Last years 3 Day results:- http://www.richmondmotorclub.com/cms/showa...hp?articleID=39 The programe used for the Scott allows for 200+ riders doing a single lap of 80 sections & includes time. It also works out all the awards, there are dozens. All entrants are sent out a section by section set of results.
  10. yes thanks I have a copy of the runners list with no numbers against them, I've also seen the reserve list but didn't get a copy of that. We're having a Flag bash / meeting tomorrow night so I assume some numbers will be available then as the programme needs to go to the printers asap which also means I've got a map to draw this week.

    Keihin Pwk 28

It would be a waste of money in my opinion.

    Gasgas

& this slaphead never learns much either. Why put stupid, no brain comments?
  13. Erm.....what happened at Kinlochleven? Which route did you ride there?
  14. Too many 'Marty moments' riding the hard course.
  15. Sell it & get another More seriously, it'll have a bottom end & a top end but bugger all in the middle. A set of rings & middle box will improve things. Scotland certainly makes 'em second doesn't it?

If you get to Cumbria this weekend you've gone too far! Dabster has urged me to try one of these Classic rounds (then the git hasn't entered himself) so I'll see you there.
  17. Mine have the hinge/hidden bolt at the back although I saw a bike come out of the box at Whites with them on the other way round.
  18. Clamps can used either way round, personal preference realy, whatever feels most comfortable.
  19. So you think the same of the Surrey C & D National?
  20. Something along the lines of this K?
  21. This years event is on the 22nd of October & it starts near Richmond in North Yorkshire. One lap of 80+ miles & 76 sections, all to be done in the fastest mans time + 2 1/2 hours to qualify as a finisher. Entry details will appear on TC some time in August.

You've been there haven't you? Come on then K, tell us what you did.
  23. I was in the process of writing a report to go on the front page regarding what we were going to do when I received the email informing me of DEFRA's change of the rules. What we had planned was is longer relevant, one thing was sure though the event would not have been cancelled until the last possible minute! The Committe had a meeting last Monday & at that stage we had full Landowner permissions to run the event subject to the DEFRA ruling. Now that the problem has gone away everything should go ahead as normal, entry forms etc should be available mid August.

    Exhaust Decoke

I've found 6 days riding round Scotland has done wonders for de-coking my bike.
