    Vertigo

wouldn't read to much in to the appearance of the back pipe more than likely a prototype or modded exhaust production exhausts from companys like bosal etc are really mass produced and I should know I worked as a welder for a short time on them as a stop gap in the early 80,s couple of months production welding and making them. I have know doubt and wish the company all the success in there bike especially in these difficult times which know doubt judging by the bikes performance so far they will achieve it and believe me it will come with the min number of welded seams on the final production model .
  3. vast majority of car bike ship locomotive manufactures bring in components from other suppliers also I assume as we do with locomotives rolling stock etc we are able to source identical parts from a variety of suppliers this stops inflated prices and tends in most circumstances tends to guarantee the quality of the parts this goes for electrical and mechanical components bolts nuts etc and anything else in between.
  4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yN7p2XOm16U if only they made trials bike as reliable as this after sat in garage a few months.!!! could do with a little less 2 stroke oil though. that's the ruskies for you though .
  5. I pointed out I could see no problem with gas gas bikes or parts being made in china or any were else for that matter I also stated that china rightly or wrongly was holder of the locomotive speed record .now for the record I do work on the railway and there is conflicting views that china is leading the way in railway tech I am not about to start cutting and pasting articles to prove or disprove a point. the fact is do I care were I get my gas gas parts from no china india etc it does not matter it matters that I am still able to get them period.
  6. well dan williams I can not fault you for a an honest and truth full reply you have my respect sir . and like I said its irrelevant who produces the next gass gas and its parts as long as they continue to do so that's the important part.
  7. well fulltilt being an American that speaks volumes to me.!! on the overhand though me being from the uk I tend to be more level headed and logical . you seem to have a problem with china ??? why would that be. I on the over hand and being a gas gas owner do not care who produces the the parts bikes etc just as long as they do carry on producing them and that is the only concern anyone should have that the gas gas name continues. and china is the worlds leader in rail tech fact we in the uk lag far behind and due to gauging issues always will. next you will be telling me how you won WW2 in europe single handed [not personally I may add]
  8. and as one previous poster added you could get the parts built in china etc and please before the flak etc they have now produced not only the worlds fastest train speed link but the worlds fastest train. so I doubt a few trial bike components or trials bike are out of there league.maybe that sometime in the future an Asian company may be willing to take a punt on gas gas .
  9. seems a quite capable bike to me I would post a link or 2 but for some reason unable to .??? if you visit inch perfect trials website look up the videos of the owner putting the bike through its paces he seems to handle the bike no problems
  10. Some brilliant news! This bike has now been found and safely back with its owner Anne! Thank you very much to everyone who shared this post and spread the word, it really has made the difference! happy days she got her bike back posted on inch perfect trials facebook page about an hour ago

Please keep your eyes peeled and get this bike back! Ring 07729129107 or 07791046257 if you spot anything was posted on inch perfect trials facebook about an hour ago.
  12. I assumed going back to the rally car question they only needed to produce a max of 500 cars to qualify. even the the ultra rare escort RS1800 BDA[50 built I think ] etc were limited just to satisfy a so called production car criteria for the WRC . hence cars like the 6r4 lancia chevette HS/HSR lotus sunbeam etc bring mega bucks.
  13. no worries says within reason so you are right but as a treat would still say inch perfect trials brilliant day out . saying that I did fish the cam and ouse in a div 1 national match and went down a few times to practise on both places .
  14. inchperfecttrials in the trough of bowland near preston been a few times matts brilliant and so are his staff . look on his website there are courses to suit everyones ability and 1v1 small groups half day full days out you could want really.
  15. got agree nigel the French are very supportive of all there industrys especially cars etc any drive around france will prove it with the public plumping for home produced models more than any other by a mile.the worst car I ever had was a morris marina jesus Christ I had to change the bottom trunion and top ball joint they had seizied required large amounts of oxy propane a 4 foot strong arm and huge scaffolding tube. guess what !!! bstrds seized again three months later and the suspension collapsed. I have worked on 40+ year old locos that were not that bad. rember wrangler jeans in the thatcher years they were made in an Asian sweat shop shipped back to the uk to have the badge stitched on in Scotland so they could qualify as made in the uk. complete and utter bollox.
  16. have you had a look on plumtree fleabay etc oset 16 childs bike just gone up on plumtree 4 hrs ago but as I have no idea of the bikes etc whats what was wondering if its worth a look.
  17. well nigel you are right in regards to the transit being imported. and I do know craig is an engineer this is the sad fact of the uk now we are almost incapable of designing and building anything anymore. we were locomotive ,ship builders ,heavy engineering builders to the world but not any more. we also produced coal etc but now we import everything. in fact my politics are as red as red can be but the rot cancer set in long before the crooked bankers etc made it even worse.. enough politics. back on topic tranny vans loved across the uk by scrap tea leafs armed blaggers pikeys lewis Hamilton wonna be formula one white van drivers etc etc etc and certain trial bike gurus and trial bike owners.
  18. yeah you are mr Rushton seen picking scrap up [usually taken before its lost] tarmacking and selling pegs roofing [i heard there was a cheaper quote to redo the Sistine chapel than your quotes] you pikey git. the patron saint of pikey robbing *******s.!!!!! :irish: only joking bud but you do have pikey van
  19. trannys have tended to be built all across Europe with the parts being the same not to sure if final assembly is in the uk or shipped fully built. as long as there ok that's all that matters .it don't stop them being the number 1 seller though.
  20. ask craig Rushton he posts regular on the forums he transports his montesa in his all the time so he will give you information dimensions etc
  21. enjoyed my day sat with you and craig and made another friend but cant recall your name. [sorry bud but very helpful and knowledgeble and look forward to seeing you again] me and craig couldn't help but admire your ossa what a bike sweet as a nut and what a bargain as well. will see you again in a fortnight but I have banged my wrist and need to do a service on the gasser. nice meeting you and enjoyed our day only spoiled by my ratchets failing 2 of them and having to stop to replace them. catch you laater and look forward to seeing you again..

  23. i underwent cardio surgery last year [valve surgery] so can offer some advice etc in this matter or there are other members who have undergone various types of heart surgery bypass etc.who can put your mind at ease also advice on drugs like blood thining drugs warfarin etc and what to avoid in regards to the type trailing you do an example would be rocks jumping on off stuff i would be very carefull as heavy contact between your body rocks etc could lead to internal bleeding. as you have not been more specific in regards i can only guess and assume its linked to your heart in some form. anyways happy riding and dont let it hold you back. when i spoke to my cardiologist after surgery he was very supportive and said do what your body capable of but be carefull.and take your time.
  24. I have noticed the bike stalls when in gear with the clutch engaged I did turn idler screw down a bit but returned it to approx postion when I bought the bike is this seems to have cured it but is this common to the bike.? Another question is it ok to use pre mixed fuel I did about a month ago it is stored in plastic fuel cans I assume it would deterioate in the bike when not in use and I tend to fire the bike up once a week when not in use and let it run for about half an hour and pottering about in the garden on it. Thanks for any replys in avance.
